- SevenShadeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0If u ever read Coiling Dragon then u knew how good that novel is... This gem is at the same level of that novel... thats all i can say for thos who really like "good" novel....all in all my rating (5star) is enough to describe this wonderfull art... and congrautalion to the auhtor and be carefull of Qidian International ...
- Ashish choudharyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It is interesting and quite addictive.
The quality improved by a large amount.
Definitely worth reading if you are interested in reading a somewhat unique story. - AyatoRahXephonRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5The early chapters do feel a bit off but as the writer gets going it smoothes out and becomes a very nice story without the a shit ton of the tropes you normally find in Xiania. The story devolps at a decent pace and the characters are getting more and more depth to them as the story goes.
- OuroborusRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Lets start with the good: Even though it us predictable the story is well written and thought out. Overall score because I enjoyed it while reading it. Style is great in my opinion while the story as before mentioned is predictable and some of the fight scenes espescially in the lat chapter are too long in my taste. Grammar is fine just not on the same levels as professionial written books. Character score is four bc. espescialy at the beginning there are several character that are just evile because they have to give the MC a springboard to move further on. Also Mc just encounters them just there where you know it already beforehand. No rivals on the travels.
Lastly a very nice read but lastly the uploads are very inconsistent and to be honest not accectable later on without explanation.
P.S. Yes I know that it is in Hiatus but still an explanation would be nice.

I'm enjoying the story so far with no major complaints. Another reviewer mentions the stilted feeling to the early chapters, which I agree with, but the writing quality has greatly improved since then.
I follow a lot of different stories on this site, but I usually allow them to accumulate a backlog before catching up; however, this is one of the stories I look forward to and read right away when I see new chapters published. - RumtwistRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Looking for something different, an author who has taken a genre and shaped it into a different image with their ideas. Then take a chance, with this hidden gem..... Its a slow start that leads into a quality tale worth reading.
- ArcanaVitaeRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Seeing the perspective of someone who's basically cultivation Tarzan is very interesting. It changes how the MC operates, acts, his skillset, abilities, worldview and cultivation. It's a very unique concept that was executed really well. Also the cultivation system of the world was really interesting, seeing how it effects people, culture and interactions is also really interesting to.
- alphaReviewsRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5So the story was like a better than average xianxia for a while... The MC is moral and there are some good developments, even if there were issues as well, but in general I was enjoying quite a bit.
Then around chapter 150, things got very annoying with extremely heavy-handed, awkward and ill-fitting LGBT agenda promotion:
After getting to the part of the world where essence is far more concentrated and hence everyone is way more powerful, the MC is now a weak scrub, but one with the following 'ultra important to him' mission: discretely become strong enough to be able to protect his family, protect the interests of the victimized spirit beasts in general and defeat the big bad antagonist. The story even explicitly shows in many ways that this central part of the world is extremely corrupt, with his new school being a bully's paradise.
So the MC on his first day there sees a gay couple being picked on by some uber-noble, and even though he was brought up by spirit beasts (where as far as we could tell up to that point there was no LGBT stuff at all), he decides to jeopardize his family's safety and his whole critical mission (saving the whole world) just because a random couple of gay men are suddenly so important to him, and the MC goes on to also expound at length about the supreme importance of protecting gay rights.
I could go on with more details of the extremely awkward and 2D characters introduced (a chef+singer gay couple and a butch warrior lesbian couple), but in general I lost all respect for the MC.
Not only did his actions not make sense given his background and goals, but more generally he created such huge problems for himself that really at that point he deserves to fail.
He could have had a moral dilema and explained how he really wanted to help them but couldn't at that point (being so weak in a might-makes-right world), but instead we get saddled with lame new characters and antagonists.
Anyhow, another annoyance worth mentioning from early on i - littlevikingdkRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5Interesting setup. And world.
The premise seems good.
But both the dialog and descriptions are quite stilted. It's problem is not grammatical but the directness of it. I found myself being pulled out of the experiance multiple times by a. And this said that for she loved him and he was sad but knew it was for his own good.
Its switching between multiple characters. But does not delve into any.
3,5 star
Give It a go. I cannot say you will love it, but I doubt you will hate it - ShaylaRoyal Road★★★ 2.5Premise and the beginning was interesting, although I wasn't too big on the whole "somehow the mama spider felt that she shouldn't leave the newborn be" fate stuff.
First part with human contact was done well in my opinion, however after that from the first city and the bad merchant onward it started to slowly fall off.
Besides the kingdom building genre feel from the bysons or w/e there was also too much delving into explanations. So much so that besides beginning to lose interest in the story I also lost immersion. Walls of text which didn't really provide anything necessary to the plot started flowing out.
Hei's sisters were quickly relegated to accessory type characters, which is a tragic and yet obvious outcome with an inexperienced author.
I'm ending my journey with this story here.
