- FolkensedaiRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0this story starts very slowly.
considere the chapters before ch 14-15 as an introduction.
the mc is sometime dumb for plot reason, but he is kind of ok the rest of the time.
he grew on me little by little. - Alucard145Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5This story is a lot of fun and a good read for people that like litrpgs
but the characters need work everyone is just following the mc and giving in with litlle or no thought he wants to do something oksy lets do that or he spouts knowlage that he shouldnt have and no one questions it at all exept mabye one line that gets deflected and then the convo jumps to somthing else.
that doesnt work in any team trust and undersanding are key hes spent months with these people but theve barly talked you need to work on that - drewbeRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Interesting story line with plenty of action and plot twists to keep the story moving! Book one starts out innocently enough, but soon the main character's life is thrown into chaos. There is plenty of room for good storytelling and growth with this idea.
- ngoaRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5The story starts off with a great premise. Lot of potential in the story. Also, so much room for the characters to grow.
Grammar needs to be improved since some of the sentences are confusing. - CornelioRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Considerations to my taste and from my point of view. I hope they can help the author and future readers.
==== (+) positive things ====
The author's perseverance in writing for so long and continuing the story.
The events of the story have a constant rhythm and do not prolong themselves unnecessarily.
Description of the world in small doses.
The main characters have their own personality, which is not aimed at describing the protagonist or serving as a sidekick to the protagonist himself.
The idea of events seen by non-player characters (NPCs) and not by "human" players.
Good grammar.
Comic story at times, which is reflected in the decisions made by the characters and in some of the events.
==== (+/-) information for future readers ====
A more detailed map would be helpful with all the areas visited.
Some characters are unrefined, crude, their personalities are limited to doing what they are told for plot convenience.
Use of puns, memes, famous quotes.
The novel is of the adventure/kingdom-building type.
The atmosphere is fantasy/videogame.
Concentration of the narrative on the protagonist.
Scenes taken from anime and cartoons featuring villains from the 1980s.
Romance? Yes. A lot of it? No.
==== (-) negative things ====
Sometimes the reasons for the events of the moment are not clear.
The secondary characters have no personality of their own, which is instead aimed at describing the protagonist or serving as the protagonist's sidekick.
Characters who make bad decisions or are simply very stupid.
Protagonist is not the smartest of the group, and he often demonstrates this.
Too many names and no official character list, for readers reading various stories it is not easy to remember who is who anymore.
Brutal events put there and then forgotten, serious wounds for all but the main characters, how consideration for these wounds and the injured lasts 5 seconds and then it is all forgotten. - sirk28Royal Road★★★★ 3.5so basically the story is a 2-3* till around then when the second major arc comes to a close due to one really annoying facter
The main character knows hes being chased, is VERY BLOODY AWARE HES BEING CHASED and still gives his name out to every tom,dick and harry believing he looks slightly different from the wanted poster. I mean come on if you get tracked down for 3 more villages something gotta give that you know they constantly tracking MAYBE IF YOU DIDNT GIVE OUT YOUR NAME ALL THE TIME NO ONE COULD SEND INFO BACK.
that small rant out of my system since i honestly was gonna drop the story if it continued any longer which thank god it didnt became a solid 4* story with him maturing quite rapidly even though he might being overkill giving no demigod a chance but at the same time he understands 90% of them very well - IfdufieueudRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5Let’s start this off with saying the story premise is intriguing, you effectively hook in reads with the start. Though for me it feels like you throw away a lot of what made the start so interesting by chapter 20.
here is a quick list of what I thing are problems, most have to do with you seemly rushing through plot points.
You quickly kill one of the brothers without really advocating the plot and then end any chance of the demigod being anything but a maybe far off threat.
the demigods themselves feel like and act like a bunch of people playing some mmo or make you own story kind of game and abuse that to be asses. You can still do a lot with them with what you have so far so I’ll see how this goes.
the third threat: the shadow organization or what ever you are going to call it. It just feels like a clutter mess off enemy’s is being shoved at us: I’d say push their introduction back at least 15-20 chapters or just don’t show their conversation. Here’s how many potential conflicts I’ve counted so far: the demigods return, his “father”, the magic guild, one of the princesses, the shadow organization, maybe a civil war in the making, the demons, and potentially his other brother. I’m barely 30 chapters in and there are enough enemies or threats to question how in the world he will live without plot armor being case 99x.
his strength is really unclear, how can he kill 5 trained soldiers and than have trouble with bunny’s and rats? Also shouldn’t his “father” be stronger? He’s a general and high ranks noble isn’t he?
I feel like you could have done more with the king. It sounds like your going to kill him in the nest few chapters and you could have drawn out this fight a lot more. Making it a game of you can get the other killed without screwing themselves later down the line.
Theres more but I think this is enough to make my point. you’ve chosen to push the story towards an interesting direction but in doing so you’ve squandered a lot of potential. For example you cou - SamlakiosRoyal Road★★★ 3.0I've read until chapter 71. I don't know if later on the story improves.
Exp. Grinding, enemy magnet and low IQ MC resume those 71 chapters perfectly.
This story seems to happen in a Low IQ Magitech dimension.
To put it into context and so you can understand, these are the basic different types of dimensions depending on its aspects in my opinion:
Depending on lifeforms intelligence:
High IQ dimensions, Mid IQ Dimensions
Low IQ dimensions, Lifeless dimensions
Depending on abundance of mana and citizen's access to magic:
Magic: Mana is so abundant and everyone can learn magic easily that they don't need technology. You can shoot with your fingers so you don't need a gun, you can create a magic array in a building and not need electric conduits for light etc.
Magitech: In stories where magic is only for a few people and normal citizens don't have access to it, is where they fuse and create of technology using magic, so Magitech. There is mana but if citizens want to use it need technology.
Technology dimensions: No mana in those dimensions, no magic just technology. - EEolRoyal Road★★★ 3.0OK writing, good world building, the Lit rpg it's too inconsistent, maybe you could drop it? Or flesh it out?
Anyway, not bad reading just to generic, I think there's plenty for people to like, just that the MC is to stupid (who keeps using their name and looks when you're being chased?!) and I kinda lost interest when memes appeared. - Catboy12232000Royal Road★★ 2.0Arc 1 is pretty good with believable advancement and characters, but author decided to throw everything away with the second arc and introduction of blue screens, Mc gets op plot armor, people become npcs with no depth, and the following arcs are just repeats of the last with different enemies and the only growth occurring being the level number changing, I skimmed through to chapter 60 hoping it would change but it didn't. Overall 2 stars simply for a well written first arc
