Reviewing pretty early, its wild so far - lots of hints at a deeper world, very curious to learn more about the setting. The characters are quite compelling, though, and it is definitely a fresh take on the magic school setting. Also some litRPG elements, but soft touch so far.

Oh by all that is holy this story entertaining!
It has EVERYTHING a great story needs:
revenge, the psychological warfare, challenges to  authority and the statis quo..
Then you threw in truelove into the mix!
The only thing that I feel shoehorned into the story is the wheelchair use.
I'm not adding anything else here because of my own rules on spoilers but in the last 2 chapters as of this post you've gotten better writing THAT character.  Just... how can put this: don't be afraid of letting that character being a jerk. Dealing with a disability that fluctuates is infuriating on levels few ever can understand.
I recommend looking up testimonies from the website "The Mighty "(Google it) for some insight on how people deal with such conditions.
    But they're coming along well.
Edit: NEVER MIND HE STUCK THE LANDING!
Finished story and i see he used it in character an in a logical place fir the setting.
9.89/10 ( i personally like more exposition but I can't see how this story can be a better "mad-cap adventure" story)
ADDED EDITS: at the end of spoiler section

The story is amazing, impeccable and impressively crafted. The MC is a well developed character with clear motivation and it's always fun to read about how he gets out of tough situations. The jokes and witty remarks are on point and the plot is extremely engaging. The interactions between the characters so far, have been really well written, in particular I enjoyed Alex's interactions with Cinder, Em and Vespera which rightly evoke fear and which I'm glad the author did not gloss over, given the type of character Alex is. It provides more depth and realism to his character which is appreciated, as well as enhances the romance with Cinder which I'm looking forward to reading more on.
I have to congratulate the author on his ingenuity with the world building and technical aspects that are complex but understandable. It's been a very emotional ride given the feelings of the characters are conveyed so well in the text. The dramatic tension is maintained well in the school setting by constantly reminding readers of how easily Alex could die or be killed by the other students who are so much stronger than him, which makes the strategies he devises to take advantage of situations look all the more impressive, and really fun to read about.
To top it off, the author's appreciation for Aztec culture must be commended. The way that the plight of Native American peoples has been woven into the story so well, with the juxtaposition of Cinder and the Omnithean Superstate, to Alex's mother and her heritage, is expertly done. I could write a whole essay about the deep and meaningful themes in this story and the universal nature of the heavy subject matter that it deals with. Instead, I will settle for pyramid-building to the Quetzal Goddess.

This is the story of a human in a world  full of all kinds of magic beings — where humans have zero magic.
Alex is a human without any mana, but the magic he has is ingenuity, boldness, and the willingness to make big  plans and see them through.
So this is what makes the book so interesting    The “magic” that the MC has is basically the same magic available to every reader of the book    But this kind of “magic” can be very powerful, and so the book has a kind of philosophy woven through the pages.
Depth:   The fact that the character is thriving in a world of magic monsters is a very interesting take.  The book is packed full of philosophy implicit in how the MC takes on a dangerous and threatening world — and thrives
Characters:  the characters are well written and have lots of great interactions     A lot of the action in the book is character-driven, and this makes it much more fun than just hackem and slashem stories
Interactions:   The characters develop a lot in the book, but their interactions are very fun and interesting.
Grammar:  the story is well written with few errors
Fun:  “Somebody Stop Him” is easy to read, and a real page turner
Creativity:  the MC disguises joins “monster high” as a weak human with no power or magic except for his brains and wit     So the story is super creative.
Visuals:  This is a huge plus for the book    The author is very descriptive, giving the work an otherworldly beauty in a way that the reader can easily visualize   Plus the writing  is very visually creative     Huge plus!
Really enjoying the book so far, so I am writing this review to help it get more visibility — it’s worth it

Glowing recommendation: impeccable use of free will, incredible creativity on display. Alex is a shithead that can't resist poking any bear in a 15 mile radius. We got a tsundere disco ball, a kitty that feds on the agony of the damned, mothman, manic pixie dream wall-outlet, and ember is here too! But underneath the tough shell of high-concept worldbuilding and harassing romancing hot monster girls there's the sweet, sweet crabmeat of interpersonal drama and getting harassed by  being romanced by hot monster girls. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be. Don't be scared off by the grimdark tag its like more like a mediation on how entropy will always triumph in the end with hardcore 'we're going to kill God/save the world with the power of love and friendship' vibes. Alright plebs shuffle off to the series this next part's for the initiated.
We got fucking Alexander Hamilton on the quill over here. Mf writes like sleep is obscure European country. I'm not joking. Napkin math puts this a at small, reasonable half million words. Goddamn, half of the entire Harry Potter series. Moving like Kevin Feige with the legally distinct MCU, Monster-girl Cinematic Universe. Or should I say multiverse? I have thoroughly enjoyed the thrill ride but nothing made me giggle like the fade to blacks when Alexander is whipping out the Glock and balls. Honorable mention for releasing the memetic hazard that is poggers back into my vocabulary. Speaking of, I'm done taking it like a good boy. I have some concerns. Understandable or relevant concerns such as the mythical (nonexistent?) Pr. Pepper? Perchance. Alright so you're going to get a slice of my grey matter here.
I came here to scratch the itch Where the Dead Things Bloom gave me like that time I fucked your mom. This post is a bit rambly, and I to have critiques (the first half of the post) but tldr: it’s a fun read (second half).
Editor’s note: the author message me and we talked some of criticism over (the good kind of talked over, they were cool about it). So I thought it’s worth noting that this review is update as I was able to more accurately clean up my review with what was, and what wasn’t a real concern as I didn’t want to do the story an injustice.
My only warning is that you have to be someone who enjoys a good amount of absurdist humour. I do, and I’m able to accept some things that I can tell might be a turn off to others. But I do think it’s hard to deny that the story structure and characters are exceptionally written (after getting through the 10 or so chapters).
The first chapter or two when the revenge plot was revealed (basically the last line of chapter 1, I say fair game and not spoilers) were very well written and pulled me faster than most other book. But then it felt like it got left on the back burner for about 10 chapters because he jumped into a pit feet first to flirt with a girl. This, alongside another of my criticisms of how he could be a bit insufferable to listen to his flirting attempts, threw me off for this couple chapters. But it would be unfair to say that these issues aren’t at least explained away eventually. I feel like the best way to describe it is that a new reader might not pick up on some character nuance (like I didn’t) until after the Van scene that happens at the end of the first day of class. This does mean it might come across as the characters doing things that you wouldn’t expect them to do, but I recommend trying to push through it as it’s thankfully not too long as these concerns do get resolved.
If you finish the auditorium scene and still don’t find the story clicks with you, then it might not be your story. Personal taste and all that. But I recommend trying to push through it
Now, mean critic aside since I do think

The world building is intriguing so far and interesting setup for a system world.  Love the artwork.  The secondary characters really stand out even in a 'magical highschool's sort of setting.  And the writing quality is great, only a few editing issues I've spotted.
Unfortunately, the MC is completely obnoxious. Kind of a trend in this authors work unfortunately, I keep giving thier stuff a chance and coming away disappointed.  They're a combination of unexplainably unrealisticly hyper competent despite being a poor highschool student, combined with being annoyingly quippy.  And then they turn dumb when they need to turn dumb for plot reasons.  If the MC was as good as the rest of this, this would be one of my favorite works on RR, but instead it's some badly-written Saturday morning cartoon Kim Possible/Rey Skywalker wannabe, except written by Joss Whedon' charisma-deprived cousin.  This sort of character that just doesn't fit in the setting.  And they're quipping thier way through it constantly, getting worse with every chapter.  Overall the dialogue is insufferable.
If you like that sort of character, it's a great work for you.  I just can't like it though.  The guy is literally written to say "plz".  How does a person say 'plz' instead of please?  Do they spell it out?
I was going to give the work 4 stars to be nice until I read a bit more and saw that travesty.  I'm sure next chapter they're going to be vocalizing emojis, so I respectfully reduce this to 3 stars and will quit looking at the car crash.

This is pretty well written and has its moments, but unfortunately its not for me.
So far there hasn't been any progression. The MC hasn't gotten stronger in anyway.
Lacks tension. While the mc is not overpowered in the actual power aspect. He is overpowered in the "brain" department. I put brain in quotations because its mostly just the world bending backwards to fulfill the MCs plans.
Another thing I wasn't fond of was the dialogue. I can see that it can be realistic as maybe kids are this snarky and annoying but reading the mc talking to multiple love interests(?) and "breaking" through their shell with fun interactions was just too much.

Bottom line up front: great world, good prose/grammar, excellent art that shows of the characters; MC that reads like the worst of obnoxious self-insert, fix-fic, "and then everyone clapped" Harry Potter fanfiction.
The world is interesting and engaging; exposition and worldbuilding is delivered with minimal infodumps that mostly make sense in context, with details about the world and the past of the MC drip-fed in a way that keeps the reader engaged while keeping the mystery and feeling of an unknown world that is slowly discovered.
The art sprinkled throughout the story brings out the characters - the cast is essentially monster boys/girls furries and (at least, for me) the appearance of the characters was difficult to imagine without the art.
While the author is no Tolkien, the grammar and prose are good and the story easy to read.
For me, the story fell flat due to the MC and the plot that accommodates him.
The following stood out to me as sharp negatives that led me to drop the story:
    1. The typical interaction and progression of the MC with what are in essence members of his furry harem: The girl is deeply troubled and with some inner trauma. Using the powers of his deus-ex-machina AI and his "I WILL FIX HER" master social manipulator energy, the MC discovers the girl's problems, inserts himself (over her vocal objections, which are of the no-means-yes type because of course the MC knows best and the story accommodates that) into her life/situation and over the course of a  few scenes (in story, about 4 days) becomes her best friend and is well on the way to fixing her trauma, issues and all but guaranteed love interest. Give or take some details and rom-com moments.
    2. (Social) interactions/conflict against antagonists/target audiences is the quintessential "and then everyone clapped" moment retold several times. There is a public setting against an audience, the designated antagonist is being antagonisty, the MC dispatches them using the powers of his AI and
