- Gon of the DraRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Interesting story concept, I always love a modern fantasy. I always think it's hard to write a story that's both relatable and engaging, but I think you are off to a fantastic start. I also think being bale to push out one chapter a day is amazing dedication. I do think you could rely more on dialogue and conversation to tell some of the story instead of heavy narration for your world and character-building. Show don't tell and all that.
OK, good luck, I'm rooting for you! - Antyl3214Royal Road★★★ 2.5I can't actively criticize, but this story of offering one's soul for power didn't please me at all, it seems like a stupid deal, the fight in the nightclub was even interesting, but, for me, it was bad when Michel used the power in this fight, unnecessary, this only happened to throw the unprepared protagonist into this new world, the authors do this stupid thing, maybe to bring tension to the story, this only irritates me, after all, for this kind of stupid situation to happen the protagonist becomes mentally retarded for the convenience of the plot, I don't like it, the protagonist should just get beaten up a little, but also beaten, it would give a human perspective to the protagonist and make the story less heavy, since his new power didn't take away his old life immediately and makes him more realistic and the reader more connected to the character.
