Description
Have you ever thought the world was boring? Have you ever shouted at the night sky, and wished that fantasy was reality? Have you ever wished that you were born into the world of your favorite story? So has David, an individual who is harboring the desire to explore the worlds of the stories he's consumed. He desires to see what his favorite anime character sees; he wants to conquer the empires of the fantasies of old; he wants a world where fiction is reality. In short, he wants to be the protagonist of his own fantasy story. However, not every story is a happy one, and when his wish is granted, he must face the fact that, even within the "perfect fantasy world", there exists the darkness that is present in every world. Author Here! I intend on using some language of the "offensive" persuasion, so if you aren't a fan of swearing and that goodness, then I suggest you find some other thing to read. Or you can just deal with it. I welcome criticism, and I intend to post a chapter at least a few times a week. I'm going to do my best to make every chapter at least 1,000 words, which is a whole bunch of writing. Please forgive me if I take more than a day or two to upload the latest chapter(s). For the time being, suggestions are welcome and encouraged. It's not that I have writer's block, it's just that I'd like to see where the readers think the story should go. -ctan

- AardvarkyRoyal Road★★★ 2.5Right off the bat from the first chapter, there were way to much commas inside commas inside semicolons. I was glad to see that it was not a reoccurring theme. Read the first three chapters and found no incentive to carry on. The major problem was the main characters. what’s the point in reading about them? I don’t mind a different perspective, hell I encourage it, but it’s not done well here.
I will only talk about the MC since the other character seem to be fleshed out later on.
The purpose of a main character is to, be relatable, or provide insight about the different interpretations of an individual’s experiences. I personally never found a character relatable and I absolutely abhor wish-fulfillment characters. While I do appreciate this MC , I found no other reason to continue reading about a main that continually acts smug and snarks at people just cause…(whatever dose of self-confidence he got, it was obviously misguided). Not saying you shouldn’t create this kind of character, but if you are wanting to appeal to the masses, ya gotta give some leeway. Story itself is good and would have definitely keep reading if there was a more modest(this does not imply weak,or lacking self-confidence) character. GREAT POTENTIAL.
