Slay the Witch

Hoshino Aki, a 25-year-old woman burdened by work pressure and various hardships, shut herself away in her home, becoming a hikikomori, surviving on savings from before she quit her job. Her life was a meaningless string of purposeless days; she considered herself a complete failure. One day, she received a call from an unknown number. The caller, introducing himself as Nameless, invited her to his world, promising it would be exciting and that she would find a new purpose in life. In her despair, feeling she had nothing left to lose in this world, she unconsciously accepted the invitation, and Nameless truly transported her to another world called Ranata.
