- TelRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Honestly my only personal quibble is one character raised a naming trope I'm not a fan of. I had sort of a facepalm moment on the first try of this review because of the real life person that the character and author didn't deserve.
That said the rest of the review stands four chapters in the world building is good, the info dumps manageable, stupid little details like the delivery guy or teacher responses great, and the world even has a bit of color.
Looking forward to seeing where things go once it gets going, but really not a bad setup to start things off with. Can't wait for chap 5-10 - exserraRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The writing style is on par with the top rated stories on RR and the published LitRPG novels you can find on Amazon.
Like i said it has a slow pace and advise you to read at leat till chapter 8 to get a better idea of the general plot of the story!
The game mechanics are really detailed as you can read in an intermission that details the SKills mechanics in game. But the takes also the side of a realistic approach to game mechanics (which i love) so be aware: no MC with billions of skills for every actions he does. The skills must be earned!
I think this novel has a great potential and i am waiting to see how the plot and the story will unfold. - CrimsonmercRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Something rare to find nowadays on Royalroad REALISM THANK MOTHER OF GODS IT'S HERE!!!! I jest a little but the systems set up are realistic. The mc isn't on some power trip yet. There is no harems yet. Its not labled wuxia (which at this point I swear that tag is there to show the story has horrible grammer).
Right down to the actual review. First off I would mention is the the infodumps in the interlude, they are not nessecary or at the very least are too early (The readers are you b**ch and don't need to know anything unless you deem it so). The readers need not know of them at this stage. I would like to point to some novels on this site which do it very well with such things and at a later point. Wandering Inn. Tidal lock. Soulshard willbender. Respawn. Life Reset. Some zombie novel cant remember and its taken down from the site lit zombie rpg or something along those lines (help me find please). Anyway there is a tonne you can refer to.
Story is great so far and I haven't seen any reason to bash it too hard other than the pod incident even after your explanation. If it was me I'd just put it down on human error and be done with it. Its more believable because the other idea wasn't too great. Cafefull with the worldbuilding too fast and you'll fall flat on your face if you cant handle it.
Next point I dont have a lot to work with here but I believe character progression is good we can see the mindset of the mc which is grand. If we were privvy to his inner thoughts somewhat it would be better (not all the time mind you. As it would be terrible for first to third perspective and grammer).
Grammer so far as I've noticied is definitly better than the vast majority of those on Royalroadl and quite frankly is the point I'm picky for the majority of my novels as it has shown time and time again to make or break novels and authors alike good rep here can make your other works more noticeable.
I want MOARRRR!!!
I like the novel and hope the author continues with it des
