Description

Caleb Cross wanted to get through his senior year as quietly as possible—in the shadow of his best friend Vince and maybe, just maybe, finally, work up the courage to make something out of his neutron star grade crush on his pal Emma.

Then, he died. Returned to life as an immortal Incarnate, Caleb finds himself the latest initiate of an ancient order of warriors whose Pax Systematica grants them abilities that transcend time and space, caught in the middle of an ancient interstellar conflict with the fate of the Earth in the balance. And, perhaps something beyond that, too, a piece in a greater puzzle. Because at the edges of spacetime, the universe is beginning to fray, causality no longer has any meaning, and reality is starting to slip...

There are some levels you shouldn’t push beyond, and everyone—and everything—has a limit.

A cosmic horror LitRPG inspired byDisco Elysium,Chronicle, andthe World of Darkness.

Updating Fridays.

Expect a slow-burn, character focused LitRPG that focuses on introspection more than grinding. This is my attempt to write something in this genre after working on a bunch of related manga. It honestly came to me in a dream. It initially began as a pitch for an interactive fiction game. While the whole story is outlined, I welcome audience suggestions and feedback, and may be able to shape the story accordingly. I see this story as a trilogy, but that's all I will say for now. This is a side project to my Sekhmet trilogy. Check out thefirst novelif you like!Yes, I was a big fan of John Dies at the End back in the day. As a whole, this story is a love letter to all the sci-fi that shaped me.

The story thus far is entertaining and very well written. The author has a great talent at ratcheting tension up just enough to leave you wanting to know more. The writing style is clear but descriptive. The quality of the writing makes it seem like an editor has already been at it. Grammar, sentence structure, languages use, it all comes together very satisfyingly. I can readily recommend this story.

    My first ever review!!
Look no further, dear reader; you have indeed discovered a hidden gem. R3v3r3n7's ability to transform a simple concept into a breathtaking masterpiece is truly remarkable.
Though the story is still in its early stages, the characters and their interactions are so seamlessly integrated into the narrative that one is left eagerly anticipating more.
I often struggle with stories involving complex timelines and reality-warping elements as easily find myself poking plotholes throughout the entire story, but Singularis stands out for its clarity, showcasing R3v3r3n7's exceptional skill as an author. Every detail feels meticulously crafted and thoughtfully orchestrated.
The groundwork for the potential master piece are still being laid out, so it's difficult to tell where this story could diverge to we are in good hands.
Like I said, there isn't much that I can comment on right now due to how early we are in the story, but I do ask you give Singularis a chance as it truly has the potential to be a royalroad masterclass rivaling the like of "Mother of learning, The Perfect Run and Super Minion".
That is how much I believe in R3v3r3n7's ability to tell a narrative. Sekhmet's Shadow gave a sneak peek at how good R3v3r3n7 truly is and he has only gotten better.
SO DIVE IN, TRULY A PICASSO PIANTING IN THE MAKING

This is an excellent start with the potential for a lot more to come, it’s too early to give a final opinion, but safe to say I’ll be following this story closely over the next few months. The characters are well written and believable, they have motivations and seem to adhere to them even when the plot pushes back. I really only hope that the horror tag on this ends up being well deserved.
