SIDERALIS - Zero Contact

Zero Contact takes place within the setting of Sideralis, same as my other sci-fi stories. In this short story, the elusive "Zero Contact" event is depicted, showing that February 9th 2198 perhaps wasn't as shocking as the wider Solaris Coalition would believe.

The short story depicts a brief but intense dogfight between Lieutenant Gordon Hastings and WSO Artur Yakovych Husak in their XiF-7 Raven and the unknown Bandit that seems to be "scouting" the Odessa system. Though the fight is won relatively quickly, its ramifications go far and wide. And even then, the Coalition kept a tight lid on the whole event.
