Shan Yan

A young monkey lords over a mountain called Yan, on the province of Shan where it underwent many struggles to achieve its current position. It defends it's mountain with pride until one day, a hawk beast from a mountain across the valley invades after transcending from mortality and overthrows the monkey.

Heavily wounded the monkey flees into a forest filled with similar creatures but manages to hide in a crevice. Inside the crevice is a stroke of fortune so immense that it changes the monkey's future forever, allowing it to reach heights it would never have imagined...
