- Ferrum1Royal Road★★★★ 3.5Overall, a good attempt, but the language was too flowery, imo. We jump right in without much world-building and the characters seem a little flat simply because we don't know anything about them or where they come from. That would have been okay if there was a sense that things were progressing on that front, but it never seems to quite get there. By the fourth or fifth chapter, you're still wondering what this world is like and who the people are.
