Description
Ralph didn't go through the Portal with his cellmate, David.
He instead went back to sleep.
David Rossmore, a criminal accountant with a head for numbers, spent a decade in the magical world of Azen.
He became Davros the Red... A Legendary Archmage who fought for the Kingdom of Aze in countless wars against their enemies.
At the peak of his power, Davros sought to bring balance to the world, but that didn't work for the Kingdom.
So they sent him back through the portal. He's back in his jail cell, but he's in trouble...
David's body is rapidly losing its magic, and he's close to death.
This story isn't about David Rossmore, or Davros the Red.
It's about Ralph.

- JageranimusRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Great start to a story! It jumps right into the action, would love to see more of the "real world" a.k.a. earth, what's the docs interpretation of this and all that, she seems to be one of the key characters there. Keep them coming! Can't wait to see what's next!
- SinkyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Love the concept and I can't wait to see how this plays out. I have the sense that Ralph is going to be a riot.
The story jumps straight in with a cleverly crafted way to give you scope of the new world and a reason to fight beyond the usual.
While you get a real sense of both Ralph and David's charachters, you also get a good idea of the enitre system to gain power and progress.
To cram so much information and detail in so quickly without being bogged down by the weight of it is a truly impressive feat and provides an engaging start to an intruiging story.
The text flows well, and sweeps you away and if there were any errors, I didn't see them.
Now we just need to see more. - FlenserRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5There are a couple spots where I think an editor could help, but. But. Spending a little time reading the first three chapters was fun. There's a large focus (so far) on world building, exploring the powers and abilities of that world, and outside of the first chapter relatively little character interaction... but it is fun, and I think that's really valuable.
I'll bet there are plenty of readers out there who'd dig this, and I sincerely hope they find it. Hopefully this review will help.
