Things are bad enough for fourteen-year-old Erin Archer when an accident shatters her dreams of becoming a professional ballerina. But they get even worse when she has a strange reaction to her pain medications and begins seeing terrifying visions of a mysterious, inhuman figure.

This really is worth reading, guys!
Erin is sent to her aunt in the country after an accident ruining her leg. Apart from the pain she has re-occurring visits by ghost -like presence which frightens her a lot.
The aunt, as it is soon to be discovered is no simple flower shop owner close to nature and animals, she is half fairy and Erin soon stumbles into misterious realm Silmarin. There you have everything a fantasy loving reader wants: a buckload of interesting creatures, court intrigue, an unexpected friend in a quiet, nice and very unhappy crown price. Oh, and what back story he has to give up along the ongoing plot!
And of course, there is the part about the deeply in love couple who cannot come together because of... That you have to read to discover.
By the point this is written we already have kidnapping and murder, I am close to biting my nails. Can hardly wait for the next chapter.
