Azaroth's extraordinary talent never had the chance to blossom to its full potential; a terrible calamity struck him down and he died soon after. But was this calamity just misfortune or was it hiding an opportunity for him?
Near his deathbed, he prepared for his future ascent to achieve his lofty goal.
Millions of years had passed after Demon God Azaroth's demise and now a young aristocrat called Edwin Rhodes came across a mysterious cave.

- Evil_DragonRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is a novel that stands out from the crowd of cultivation stories. It tells the tale of Azaroth, a Demon God who has reborn in a weak and frail human body.
The novel is written in a captivating style, with interactive dialogues and rich details that bring the scenes and the emotions to life. The author does a great job of showing, not telling, the actions and expressions of the characters, making them more realistic and relatable. The grammar is decent, though it could use some editing and proofreading to make it smoother and more consistent.
The plot is fast-paced and thrilling, with unexpected twists and turns that keep the reader on the edge of their seat. The novel is different and far more interesting than the standard cultivation novels. The novel also has a good balance of humor, romance, and action, making it enjoyable and entertaining.
The characters are well-developed and intriguing, each with their own personality, background, and motivation. The main character, Azaroth, is especially fascinating, as he is not a typical hero, but a ruthless and cunning anti-hero, who does not hesitate to kill or manipulate anyone who stands in his way. He is also not a one-dimensional villain, but a complex and conflicted character, who has his own reasons and emotions, and who sometimes shows kindness and compassion. The novel also has a diverse and colorful cast of supporting characters, who add depth and variety to the story.
This is a novel that I highly recommend to anyone who likes fantasy, action, and romance, with a dark and mature twist. It is a novel that will keep you hooked and curious, and that will surprise and delight you with its creativity and originality. I look forward to reading more of this novel and seeing how the story and the characters will evolve. - librarysmilesRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5The main character is a greedy selfish bastard that fits in with the cultivator environment. He's another murder hobo with a knowledge cheat that cultivates three types of energy.
The main character starts the story by forcibly taking over a young man's body.
He's the kind of person who might kill another cultivator protagonist in secret to obtain his cheats.
Unlike a lot of translated stories of this nature, this one is written better gramatically. - EnlightenedPlayer2Royal Road★ 0.5Firstly, this is a duplicate posting of a novel under the name "A Demon's Journey". The novel is available online well past chapter 500. I am not sure why the author decides to only post until chapter 50.
As for the story itself, it is entertaining enough for the first 100 chapters. After that however, there is a great degree of useless filler that drags on for over 300 chapters.
The mc goes from being ranked 2 to ranked 5 within around 100 chapters. It takes the mc another THREE HUNDRED CHAPTERS before he ranks up again. That wait is outrageous. This novel is clearly designed to be a op mc power fantasy.
A great portion of the novel is spent on scheming / drama, instead of on adventure and action. There is a lot of useless information given to fluff chapters. If that sounds appealing, then give it a shot.
I have read up to chapter 540, before dropping.
