Scratched Off

This is a short story based in a world I wrote up a few months back.

The Dale is a strange world, where the moon doesn't work half the time, and magic is a common saleable commodity. In a world as backward as this it's likely to find any number of unfortunate happenings. In this instance, a simple delivery man stumbles his way into a warzone with few victors and is joined by company he simply can't refuse.
