When a tower was cleared, it could be the basis for a community but until that point it was synonymous with death.Daniel Selby, a Draconian from a southern town adventures north, hoping to escape his past by becoming distant from it, when the memories he tried to avoid costs him the life of someone important to him. This story is so pleasant to read, and it has such a large spectrum of emotions portrayed, that it's difficult not to appreciate.
It gives a fresh feeling, like a rainbow in the damp grey sky.
The story flows very nicely, it puts you on edge, and then gives you relief, only to take you by surprise afterwards.
Exposition is somehow given within the context of the plot, without it feeling like an info dump, which makes reading it so very enjoyable. You only get snippets of lore, restricted to the ongoing situation. Fantastic.
The more I see the characters interact, the more eager I am to learn what comes next.
On the other hand, in my opinion it does not have enough dialogue, and the length always leaves me wanting more. Though I can only see how a minimal amount of dialogue might be your preferred style for this story.
I love it. Please continue to spoil us with your storytelling.
