Description
One man with the hope of millions of frightened people. One man with the power to save a crumbling empire. One man with the ability to unite what has been divided.
In a war-torn era, The Crisis of the 3rd Century, a period of both internal and external unrest and turmoil in the Roman Empire, the greatest of all time, meet Aurelian the Restorer of the World, most underrated emperor of the antique.
In an alternative scenario where history unfolded in a different way than we used to know, our hero shall pay any price necessary, sacrifice anything demanded of him and destroy anything in his wake for one single thing, for one simple dream.
The dream of Rome, the whisper of history, of greatness and civilization, of morals and of conquest. A dream surpassing generations, centuries, millennia.
A dream still breathed today.
The dream of an united world, a world in harmony and peace.

- Andrew ButlerRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Good so far though incredibly early hope for more in the future I like me so alternative history and Rome is one that I feel is understandable for many people and a good place to start that being said I also hope we may get to see some of the mystic practices of the old empire would be a nice change. No major issues stand out I hope this pattern continues.
- sicksockRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Do you long for the glory of Rome. Do you spend your nights cursing the savage barbarians and corrupt parasites which plagued the eternal city? Do you have to stop watching 12 part documentaries on the Roman empire at part 9 because they reach 'the fall'?
If so this story may be for you. An alt history told from the perspective of a newly crowned roman emperor. So far the story is well written with no major grammatical errors. This early characterisation is still ongoing but the MC certainly has personality and a dream. The world feels accurate without being burdened with too many historical terms or language. My only real complaints are repetitive use of some adjectives but otherwise so far so good.
If youre like me and you like roman history. Give it a shot.
Ave Caesar!
