Description

Ever wonder what a food centric litRPG written by a real-life Chef looks like? Well, you no longer have to wonder!

Marco is a fine dining chef just trying to get through the day. Whisked away from his restaurant, friends and empty apartment to a land of magic, combat, and curses.

Marco ends up in the world of Omnia where a benevolent System reigns, kindness is treated with kindness, and an Undead outbreak greets you at your front door. Join Marco on his journey of discovery as he learns of magic, combat, and more importantly new foods to cook.

All is Fair Under the Sun.

New post every day! Please enjoy. What to Expect:

A Non-Restrictive Power System- Magic is flexible on Omnia, intent and creativity matter more than a strict spell form.

A Kind and Level-Headed MC- Marco isn't one to rise to jabs or taunting, choosing instead to show kindness where possible.

A LGBTQ+ Main Character- If there is any issue with this, please seek another story. There will be very little if any romance but there are thoughts from the main character about those around him.

A Food-DrivenStory- Marco is a chef character written by a career chef, there will be lots of food descriptions and some entire chapters about food. There is action and adventure to be had as well, but the driving force is food.

This story is sick as hell!  Haven’t gotten far yet, but the system is interesting and Marco seems pretty chill.  the cooking scenes are either well researched or come from long experience.
The way information is conveyed is elegant, and the action is good.
My only complaint is that some attention to typos could be taken.
More detailed review later, I think.
Makes a very good first impression!

i'm not sure i quite understand previous ratings. i find this story to be a darn enjoyable read (and that's ignoring that it's from a new author). is it perfect? not by a long time shot. there are someone rough edges that would go away with editing and others that could go away as the author gain experience. but what IS there - as of right now, 21 chapters in - is not just a solid debut but an enjoyable experience in general. i absolutely recommend it.
MC is said to have been a chef pre-isekai and he certainly offers food and knowledge. he's a pleasant and polite individual who has had the luck to run into other pleasant individuals offering him kindness and have been polite to them in return. there are scenes of combat now and then but it is largely a slice of life story (or at least has been so far). the system is unique enough for you to get to see and discover new things. and, if you like food (like i do), the author engages in the "show" rather than the "tell" that most stories fall into with their food making portion.
TLDR? it's a pleasant and enjoyable easy-to-read story with a still developing author that, i think, is worth your time.

Really enjoying this story! I truly hope that the author continues! I wish I would have waited until it had more chapters as I am a notorious binge reader. However, this was just such a delightful story I didn't want to wait. Thank you dear author and I pray you continue.
