An angel-like being awakens in the middle of a world where humanity has been borderline annihilated. Enslaved, abused and without hope, the angel finds out that it is far too easy to exploit such a situation to its advantage.
And thus, the story of a god is made.
(Story has a very long timeline, with events having a lot of time in-between them, so expect a lot of time skipping)

I think you not actually going in detail about of how it all works is good. Because it doesn't need explanation, magic is magic, divinity is divinity, faith is faith, the World's Laws are the World's Law. That, is good. That means you're not a chinese novel using remnants of their old day's culture as foundation for their writing.
I dunno what else I can note that is good...
I think you can only write more to have more flaws or good things in what you're writing revealed.
