On Jan. 1stof 2017, the entire world learned of the existence of the SYSTEM, whether by cellphone, television or the monster chewing their hand off. Thrown into disarray, the world immediately collapsed and fell into a state of anarchy.

Forced to give up a carefree lifestyle and enter the world of blood again wasn’t exactly how Peter saw his life at thirty-seven. As a retired, "slightly deranged," mercenary adapting to chaos is second-nature, but what about monsters and magic? Carving out a path of blood, follow as Peter explores this apocalyptic new world.

    The first chapters are really well written, and I loved it from the start.
    If all of the chapters are on par with the first ones and The updates are consistent, I can easily see this story reaching top 50.

    Do you know what cognitive dissonance is?
    1.    the state of having inconsistent thoughts, beliefs, or attitudes, especially as relating to behavioral decisions and attitude change.
    Because this defines peter and reading his character is just so jarring when you have the inconsistent actions.
    Peter is a mercenary, you would’ve expected him to be cool calm collected in a combat situation as is typical of a soldier of fortune who would be extreme disciplined but nooo… PETER ANGRY PETER SMASH. Fucking honestly, just make him a failed super soldier or something cuz this bloodthirsty madman mr.mundo smash isn’t working with his merc shit yeah?
    I mean in a combat situation where you have no info on your enemy, you would stay calm and collect information, perhaps sneak up on the monster or so. But what does Peter do? PETER ANGRY PETER GOT STR RING PETER KILL YOU NOW. Heedless of the fact that the wolf with ??? levels could probably fucking oneshot him.

    “Achievement points again? What the hell is this for?” Peter angrily shouted. Slightly enraged, Peter kicked the door leading to the roof, which loudly slammed onto the wall.
    ‘Damn! Now the wolf knows I’m here!’ Since he had revealed himself, he didn’t bother with stealth and directly charged up the stairwell.
    If that doesn’t shout anger problems to me, then I don’t know what does. Why not make him a dishonourably discharged soldier due to his anger management instead of a mercenary. IMHO, that fits him way better
    Next, we find out the our dear Mr. Peter is looking for his big sister. THEN WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU DRAGGING ALONG DEAD WEIGHT? Goddamn, it just frustrates me so much that he just doesn’t ditch the idealistic fool James.
    ITS A FUCKING APOCALYPSE, PEOPLE ARE BEING BUTCHERED AND THEIR INTESTINES ARE BEING CHEWED UPON. GODFUCKINGDAMMIT DON’T LET ME HEAR THAT KILLING IS BAD, just fucking kill him off already, I’m begging you, give Rem so
