With the discovery of three new supermaterials, technological advances flourished. Wars over these world-defining resources grew fierce, relying on newly invented 'hypertech' weaponry to secure their sources. The march of science and technology pushed ever forward, fueling these great war machines, and threatening to overturn the world's order. Humanity itself, it seemed, was quickly beginning to be left behind. That is, until an unprecidented change occurred, and it all to come crashing down.

Many years later, in the aftermath of the fall, the great machines continue to roam the wilds, and the world's population has been pushed to the fringes in a fight for survival. In a remote corner of the world, this strange change happens upon one secluded place, long left rusted and forgotten...
