Rise of the Weakest Summoner

Description
One fateful day, a caravan was passing by the village of Teira, which had been raided and set ablaze by bandits. Within the burning rubble, a young woman found a baby, a sole survivor of the attack, and decided to take it with her and raise as her own. As she was leaving with the little child in her hands, two falling stars lit up the night sky, and she named the boy Asterios.
Years passed and he grew up in a caring and warm home, developing a passion for all magical beasts, choosing the path of a Summoner as his way of life. While his love and knowledge also grew boundless, his practical abilities clearly pointed out his complete lack of compatibility with that school of magic, but he never wavered in his resolution.
Follow Asterios as his life of perpetual failure and bullying suddenly takes an unexpected turn, after just seconds short of his death, a powerful summon answers his call and saves his life. Wait... doesn't it look like... A GIRL?! Are those animal ears and tail?!

Release schedule: Two times a week is the goal. Most likely Tuesday and Friday.
What to expect:A quite chill fantasy adventure with an MC devoted to summoning magic and fantasy beasts, slowly getting rid of his title of the Weakest Summoner (sudden strength gain but with progressive development), lots of exploring, magic, encounters, lots of character development, quite some fluff and feel-goods and perhaps a lovely harem of Monster Girls (not too many). It's a quite light story.

- Big HavokRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I read the first book on KU and was excited when I saw it was also on RR. Now I am caught up to what is posted on RR and I can't wait for more lol! It is an awesome story with great characters with a really cool magic/ability system. Please keep up the work.
- BuryRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0There are little to no grammar mistakes, the characters feel alive and not like puppets. There weren't any info-dumps, but the world feels fleshed out.
The MC isn't an overpowered d*ck but neither is he a asocial loser incapable of contact with a female, like in so many other stories. He is nicely balanced, and even though he got a power up early on, the story didn't turn into a power for the sake of power story. What I mean is, he feels human, not like a puppet of the author.
The main heroine is shy and adorable, but she isn't the stereotype that people walk over, she stands up for herself and the MC.
There seems to be a direction the story is following. As mentioned it doesn't feel like the general Xianxia story (it isn't xianxia, but I needed an example). The story has nice pacing and the updates are fairly regular and has decently long chapters.
There are bits of romance and the author has done a wonderful job in capturing it so far. You'll probably be shipping the characters from their first meeting.
All in all, if you like fantasy, fluff and warm feelings this is a story for you. - KovarRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Overall, I gave Rise of the Weakest Summoner 5 stars because it is currently my favorite story. It was a pleasure to read, with many heartfelt moments. This is likely due to the compelling story which contains tons of character and relationship building.
RotWS has a rich and diverse world that is built slowly over the first novel. At no point did it feel heavy handed and there were no in your face numbers or massive/dry/boring expositions.
The fighting and adventure scenes are very believable with only small amounts of plot armor.
The story contains a very large cast of characters and is told from the MC's perspective. While there is a lot of suspenseful scenes, there was still enough down time to allow the story to ebb and flow properly.
The Harem aspect focuses mostly on the relationship with the MC and is not solely thrown in for fan service.
The girls in the Harem are there by choice and clearly show affection for the character and actions due to their experience together and not just because as I have seen in other wish fulfillment type stories.
The explicit chapters are clearly marked, and the rest of the book(s) would be considered lewd at its worst. Personally, I thought the explicit chapters had some great character development in some of them and are worth reading. If that isn't your thing you could easily skip and not be worried about missing any major developments.
The overall grammar, spelling and readability was very high with very few mistakes. I think I saw maybe 5 errors over ALL 10 novels. - ShemryuRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I love summoner stories especially the style when the Summoner is also a Buffer makes for very interesting party capabilities. They have explained Summoning magic really well interested in seeing how they incorporate other types of magic.
The writing quality has been above par for your average royal road postings. I feel like the characters personalities have been explained and executed well looking forward to seeing how they develop further. - Temo JickRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0As of writing this is at 12 chapters with no reviews. That dosnt seem right. I am terrible at writing reviews, but hear goes.
So this is an isekai but not an isekai. The MC is not transported from another world... at least not as far as we know. Probably not. BUT the first and so far only heroine is transferd from another world. So this is an isekai.
Neither character is from earth. So this is not your standard isekai story... but it is quickly ticking all the boxes any way. We have a school. We have class disrimination. We have have a super accelerated romance between characters from differant worlds. We have an adventurers guild.
So yeah. If you dont like the standard isekai cleche you should probably stay away.
Personaly the only thing i dont like about isekai is how often they go hand in hand with herems. Which cirtainly seems to be on the cards for this story sadly. But so far im very much enjoying it and hitting the referesh button every day eager to read new chapters. - [email protected]Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I love the slow evolution of the main character. The attention paid to the MC's mates and the development of their personalities is also well done.
I also enjoy how characters from earlier in the series are brought back (like Truvi) to participate in the story and as more than just cameos. - arsh2000Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is a more relaxing fantasy story, and the summoner setting is done very well. The MC is also very composed but not apathetic, which is a sight for sore eyes. The beastkin summon is also very cool as who does not like a cat girl :). Must read from my side if you are tired of high-pace hero of the world type novels.
- designiconRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Not being a fan of all the grimdark, I'm really enjoying this one so far as a lighter fantasy with endearing characters, a little slice of life amoung the adventure and an intriguing world, looking forward to how it all develops given how much it has already grown so far
- nobody987Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0man this is one hell of a story that you have here read up to chapter 85 in two days had to wait for volume one and two and payed $32 for it man was it worth it so thanks for the amazing story. This is turning out to be one of my favorits to read since i have to wait on updates so i have a few so great job and don't just give up on it in the middle of the story like some books that i started geting into please and thank you.
- wizardfishRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The weakest to strongest is a fun storyline. The MC not getting a crazy ego makes it a pleasant read. The character interactions are awesome and my favorite part, with just an occasional dash of spice to give some depth to the relationships. Every book is an instant-buy as soon as they become available in ebook AND audio. Love the series!
