Good formatting, great story idea and direction. The world building is a little lacking when it comes to the ranks but its not a big enough deal to be a negative. Occasionally minor mistakes but author is always quick to fix and chapters are regular.
I love the personality of the MC and side char and there Legitimate evilness, The clan building concept of being the now First Vampire is amazing I look forward to seeing that progress. Great story mate keep going.

I love this story for several reasons. While the start may not have been too great the story as it goes on continues to pull in the reader. Furthermore, unlike other vampire stories there is not too much violence and gore but enough to make the story action packed. Also regarding the sex scenes, there are just the right amount and they are put in at appropriate times unlike other vampire stories where there is one in almost every chapter. There is also the great fact that in this story there is no rape element in this story like there is in many of the other vampire stories which in all honestly makes those stories quite distasteful. All of these qualities combined make this story in my opinion the best Vampire story on Royal Road.

Alright your style is alright, nothing special, but still good none the less so 4/5 (not much else I can say about it, it is what it is...)
Your story isn't bad it has some unique aspects, but honestly they're far and few in between though I say that your story isn't over cliche either and is enjoyable to read, though sometimes I find it a little fast paced, but that has more to do with the characters and not the actual 'story' (yea your not going to like what I have to say about your characters)
Grammar is well... not an atrocity at least. Thought you have a lot of typo grammar errors that could easily be fixed by simple re-reading your chapter or a proof reader either works honestly. Though you do have some parts were your grammar makes no sense so don't know if you just had a derp moment at that point in time or whatever. anyways ONWARDS!
Alright... your characters... (sigh...) What can I say? The only reason I'll probably drop your story is cause of your characters they're all paper like thin existences. Like its so bad to the point I cant stand reading your story anymore, everyone just takes everything so easily about this whole vampire thing and well just EVERYTHING like, You made Vampires a LEGENDARY EXISTENCE that is EXTINCT, FOKING EXTINCT and this guy throws around im a vampire to everyone he's about to turn like its common sense and they JUST ACCEPT IT after a quick little 'shock' and then they litterally give 0 foking FOKS about it like WHAT?! Then convienent 'plot' makes everyone who is turned simple give 0 foks about killing other humans that they used to be like morals be damned really? REALLY?! Shallow that's all I can say it's just pure shallow all the philosophical and mental trauma these people should be going through for turning into flipping MONSTERS who EAT their former KIN is just covered up with meh its part of the package. I love the idea of clan building aspect. But i think it would be more great if you add even just a litlle bit of world building. The things i really don’t like is that there is no mystery in this story. It doesn’t give me the feeling of wanting to know more and uncover the mytery in this story. It’s just like show and tell. there are alot of ways to make the plot move on. You don’t have to bluntly write the plot. It gives away the mysterious feel.
Btw the soldiers at ch.2 are dumb as fuck like seriously they follow a stranger immediately for a fucking water. I belive they must have some water left back at their own troop camp.

i haven't read very many stories about vampires in the pasts and the ones that i have come across were somewhat decent but nothing special, this being royalroad of all places i was hoping for something amazing when i came across your story. sadly that wasn't what i got.
the main character is boring beyond belief, you started off explaining how important his family was to him but as soon as he's turned into a vampire he loses all of his own thoughts and desires. he's got no real motivation other than, "gotta build my clan" but he's ignorant of the world and so incredibly stupid with his own choices, he's killing everyone he comes across without a second thought. whats going to happen when he comes across someone stronger than himself?
i can't continue to read this and that saddens me, but i've just lost all interest.
