As title says, gonna try to be short and concise on my review here.
Main character is a very good character for a view of the world, written to not be dumb but simply ignorant if some things allows the reader to learn with her organically.
The author has mentioned in layer chapters that they like the system feeling like part of the world, and written to fit well, they've succeeded in my tastes. Without spoilers, everything learned so far has a reason, a place, and a purpose in the system instead of *Jim Bob toiled in the soil, unlocked beekeeping* we get *Jim Bob realized as he toiled in the soil that adding some air mana allowed the plants to circulate the mana better as they 'breathed'* (not an exerpt or anything, just a point of showing its him that improved not his stats, which is how this author rolls, and I love it).
I rambled a bit there, but point is the author does very well in standing out in details, immersion, and characters. I highly recommend giving it a shot, it's not fluffy and sweet though. It implies darker themes without going full into the back alley in a bat suit to hunt a physchotic clown with a crowbar levels of advanced darkness. (Yet at least). Regardless, good reading to you.

I cannot overstate how much I love this story.
It is an incredible exploration of a magical world both foreign and familiar.
One of the most fascinating aspects of the story is the Magic but it also features a rather unique approach to system.

Rise of the Outlander is writen from the perspective of our protagonist Kyo a girl native to the monster filled Lost Jungle.
We follow her trying to survive in the dangoures wilderness far away from her home, using only her wits, her magic and the strange system to overcome the challanges that this magical ecosystem throws at her.
As the story continues she explores more and more of the workings of magic and the system in her head.
I have in my reading noticed almost no grammer, spelling or punctuation mistakes.
It is written in first-person past tense from the perspective of Kyo intespersed with the occasional interlude providing more context and an interesting perspective on the actions of the protagonist.
The story is well paced and in my opinion incredibly interesting. The overarching story bears some resemblance to the colonisation of America nut is ultimatly still focused on Kyo and her exploration of magic and the world beyond her former village.
The characters which have been introduced so far have all been very well written. The reason I am not rating Characters 5/5 lies in Kyo and her backstory, as some elements of it have not been fully realised in her character in my opinion. (To the question of if the characters are three-dimensional, I would arg

The story so far has been greatl the world building, and system development has been great. This is a very creative application of a system and I won't give any spoilers, but it is well done and consistent. The world doesn't revolve around the MC and they are simply a person living in a big world with a complex ecosystem.
In terms of plot and character development, things are still in he first survival arc, so it is hard to say where it'll go, but it is well written and seem promising. Looking forward to more!

Clean, well written, interesting magic premise in a very dangerous place.
Character is a little shoegazey but is justified by their situation.
Still early days for this story but it's been very promising storywise.
Review must be at least fifty words long so I will continue to add to this

The story follows the standard approach of many stories on RR of an MC going from weak to powerful. Nothing wrong with that, even if not novel in any way. There is fighting, there is magic, there is a new world. So far so good.
Alas, the story fails to really captivate me for various reasons. First of all... the formatting. A small thing, but having the whole story basically written in one-liners is off-putting and reduces the flow. Connected, the style of writing could take some revision, with more atmosphere, more details, more... everything. It often feels like a string of sentences moving from point a to b. Which is fine for delivering the content, but not really suitable for a wonderful, engaging story.
The most important critique I have is that for a story that so far has as its main premise progression, the progression we get is entirely unsatisfactory. It isn't earned! Without giving away too much of the story... the MC randomly stumbles across an advantage, then randomly "levels" up without any information given on why or how. On each such level up, the MC gets a new skill/ability, most of which are fairly straightforward and not particularly exciting. The worst one is something that provides basically all kinds of information about things, magic, etc. Again, nothing is earned. It just comes for free.
And then... suddenly the MC is a master runesmith/magician that develops spells freeform without struggling much at all. Sorry to say... but that is just a little bit boring. If the story is about progression... then let the reader feel satisfaction with the progression. If it isn't about progression... well... then introduce some other hook for the reader. So far I don't see anything else.
A last comment, and related to the previous one, it turns out that the abilities of the MC aren't unique (probably). There was, for instance, a whole village of people with such skills and they collectively fell to some beast (presumably weaker at the time, as these things

The story has some fairly well-written adventure, exploration, and experimentation with magic. The use of the system and the exploration into how it works is in depth and on point, and the overall approach taken is relatively novel. On the other hand, so far the plot is a bit basic and characterization is weak. There are also a few grammar and spelling mistakes, but nothing egregious. Once the story moves past the prologue and we see more about how the protagonist interacts with other characters, it's possible things will get more interesting, but so far the plot is very much a slow burn.
