it is an amazing story with wonderful world-building. the characters are well fleshed and the world is vibrant. The backstory is just right. the MC is not gullible and worthless. I hope this story comes back and that the author is alright. if this story continues then I would wholeheartedly recommend this.

A good Kingdom building story. The story is dropped for unknown reason but I still wanted to review it. There are only 87 chapters but they are very interesting. There ares some issues like we just are told few times that MC read books since childhood (because he was basically held like a kidnappes person) and he got his knowledge from there but not exactly explained. MC is intelligent and clever. I will give it 5/5 just because of how enjpyable it is to read. There is a minor wuxia fantasy elememt. Other than there is no system, superpowers or magic etc.
MC doesn't start in very good position but he still improves his kingdom. There are also problems shown it's not like he just invested some money and got instant returns.
The novel would have been great if it was completed. I knew that it is dropped bht still read it.
The author may have actually died seeing how suddenly he left off, and has posted zero updates. One of the very few books in the Kingdom Building genre that dont just cheat with time travel or video game logic. Its pretty tragic that it will likely never see completion. Rest in peace.

    Dear Author,
A great read indeed. It's no Game of Thrones and is much more focused on world building rather than drama. But the drama is there. The writing style isn't top tier but there are very few spelling errors and the story flows nicely, much more nicely than what's found here anyways.
I foresee a bright future for this one and the Author has my full support in his pursuit to the producing of a work of art.
As always, I hunger for the next chapter.

This story is a very well written one, I have been hopping to find a good kingdom building novel for some time and this one really satisfy me.
The story make sence with nothing forced, the MC is charismatic and feels like a real person.
The main motivation of the MC so far is to get enought strenght in his territory so he can safe his little sister from marring the pig son of the count.

    READ TO CHP 33
Synopsis: Gerald inherits a dysfunctional house with all its territories, yet the coffers are bleeding and the bandits rule with an iron fist. Now, he do whatever he can to return his house to glory.
I was originally going to do a simple review and give it a straight up 5 stars, because lets be real, its not hard to get 5 stars when all the trending stories are for horny power fantasy addicts.
This story has it all: A decent plot, nice rising/falling tension, character development, and in general good action.
Grammar is obviously something to nitpick about but the current state of affairs is acceptable.
    To the Author{SPOILERS POSSIBLE}:
While I enjoy immensely the quality of this novel, I personally believe that the management aspects of the story may require a bit of work.
Something to consider when revising is the sheer amount of refugees involved. You made it sound like it was a gigantic threat, and while I do accept that they may have been recruited into the bandit group, there's still a large possible group to consider that may be a plotpoint left unexplored.
You should figure out what direction you want the story to go in terms of how much the MC will interact with the people. At the start, the MC was going to tavern and talking with crossbow inventor, but nothing really came of that. If there's those gravel road improvements, some references to the mood of his subjects might add a little flair.
I am bad at remembering names, but most characters were quite good in my opinion. Obviously, Gasper is memorable and the Uncle has his quirks to separate him from others. The orphan duo were amusing to read about and the soldier dude Robard or something seems to have quite a strong presence since he is so averse to dishonourable stuff. I reckon however, the minister Anthony or something not as memorable as the spy send by the duke so maybe spice some of his personality up a bit.
    {END SPOILER}
I get that the story hasn't even probably begun to come to an

Very solid kingdom builder with enough details, but without needless brooding.

This novel has the chance to be among the best kingdom building novels out there. I read that someone compared it with ”Daughter of the empire” and I agree that this story can be the heir to the throne. I really hope the author continues the story.

It feels and reads great! It has a nice flow and plot pacing. The Mc makes intelligent choices and mistakes.
29 chapters in I do miss a bit more on the magic system side, or whatever exists in this world. It is as far only described as "warrior strength" and "attributes". I hope that will be more fleshed out sooner rather than later.
