Noah Brown had a gift for fighting. Unfortunately punching things didn't pay the bills, at least until he died and an Eldritch god found his soul. The encounter led him to a new world, summoned by bloody cultists, with nothing but the shirt on his back, and a strange item in his system menu.
[???] : A source of infinite potential.
Perhaps he'd finally get to put his gifts to good use.

- zp1910Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Only 14 chaps in and im loving it!
The system reminds me a little of He who fights with Monsters and Randidly Ghosthound, but with its own twists and features.
My only regret is that there is only like 70 odd chapters at time of writing this. Ill be done by the end of the day! - Space killerRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Let me present to you my positive review of the LitRPG fantasy novel titled “Rise of the Devourer”.
"Rise of the Devourer" is an Isekai LitRPG fantasy novel that takes you to a fantasy world filled with magic, monsters, and thrilling adventures. The main character, a fearless warrior named Noahe, is transported to a world filled with deadly challenges and dangers. As the story progresses, gets awesome classes and gets stronger and stronger, allowing him to defeat fearsome enemies and overcome impossible challenges.
What makes this novel so captivating is its frenetic pace and constant action. The story never ends, and each chapter is filled with events that keep you guessing. The fights are intense and well-described, and the emotional moments are poignant and touching. The author manages to skillfully balance action and emotion, which makes the story even more immersive.
The characters are also well developed and interesting. Noah is a charismatic and courageous main character, but he is also vulnerable and has his own weaknesses. The supporting characters are equally compelling, each with their own personality and role to play in the story. Character interactions are often fun and entertaining, but they can also be deep and moving.
The dialogue is well-written and compelling, if a bit melodramatic at times. The descriptions are also excellent, allowing you to clearly visualize the scenes and characters. One of the interesting aspects of this novel is the LitRPG game system, which is well handled and adds an extra dimension to the story. Although the system is more active than reactive, it is easy to understand and follow.
In the end, I really liked the book so far" - Supersanttu7Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0To preface this review, I really like these kinds of stories and I'm not the most critical reader in general.
This is a reincarnation story about a stubborn man thrown into a situation wildly above any metaphorical paygrade he could've ever had prior their demise. Luckily, he manages to take his new situation in stride.
I personally love Noah's magic and the potential applications it has in the future, as well as the kind of directions he will lead the plot towards. In this short amount of chapters he has already made several decisions that are in no way conducive to a peaceful life. Not the greatest for him but us readers will certainly not be bored.
This story won't be everyone's cup of tea despite its quality. Just give it a try, you'll be able to tell if you like the taste of not. - The_blankRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It doesn't have much chapters but I enjoy it so far . Why do advanced chapters need to be 200 words long tho? I can't write that much when I have an assignment/ exam , so how would I write that much for a review . The main character is mostly reasonable. Some might view him as reckless but I would have been more bloodthirsty if I was in his situation. And I'd be more willing to share my abilities with the brown haired adventurer , so I'd say he's definitely more cautious than I am. One thing that I dislike is how despite him being supposedly more cautious than I am he keeps slipping up and almost revealing how he's from another world . If he's that cautious them shouldn't he be paying more attention to his words? And seriously I can't believe I still didn't pass the 200 word mark till now , it's unbelievable. Plz just let me submit the review , this is a good enough review . I just want to support the author not become an author myself . Blah blah blah and blah blah blah , I ran out of stuff to say , someone save me and help me get out of this .
- TitaniumElephantRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I like the way it started, though Im a little weary if the MC will be one of those super righteous people. I hope not, because those just end up twisting themselves into pretzels justifying random decisions and then it gets tedious. I hope he can continue to be what he is but can do what needs doing without wallowing in sadness. The system seem pretty straightforward and the world might be interesting.
Like it for now, hope I can love it....I LOVE IT - TorauthRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story has been a great start so far. Whilst the protagonist has become very powerful very quickly, it doesn't feel too farfectched because of the information that's been made available to us.
That being said, I agree with some of the other reviews that we don't know enough about the main character to understand just why he acts like the way he does in the first few chapters. It'd be great to have a prologue chapter that would introduce us to who the character actually is before he gets placed in this world (otherwise, what's the point in it being an Isekai?). Although his character development thus far feels pretty good and the lead female character feels very well done - she's obviously strong enough to hold her own, has her own backstory and motivations, and doesn't instantly become part of the MC's harem and swoon over him like in a traditional isekai story.
What we've seen of the magic/levelling system feels well fleshed out (especially the little hints we've been given about it, which I won't elaborate on further for risk of spoilers).
The support "lore-drop" character is actually my favourite in this story so far. His outright disdain for the MC is a breath of fresh air, and really adds something extra to the story. - caerulexRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The initial start is similar to He Who Fights with Monsters. MC is isekaid from Earth to a new world. He arrives in a lair of evil cultists. He has a game interface, along with an inventory and quest system.
But there's more going on. The MC has a mysterious past. Specifically, the events that led to his death (and isekai'ing) seem pretty important, like life or death of planet Earth important. He doesn't remember how he died, though--and how a seal with "infinite potential" got merged with his soul. A seal that eldritch and godly entities are very interested in.
The world he isekais to seems pretty standard fantasy world so far but has its own unique aspects. It'll be fun seeing the MC master his abilities and grow.
The MC is a weeb (it's not obnoxiously overdone, though--MC just makes some obvious weeb and gamer references) who seems to have combat experience/martial arts background. He takes to killing and fighting monstrosities like a fish to water. Very mysterious. It's hinted that he has a natural affinity for this kind of stuff, almost like Jake's natural instincts in Primal Hunter.
The style is clean and the story feels pretty well edited. Only a few tiny typos or odd sentences.
If this story updates consistently and isn't dropped, I think it could turn into something really awesome. Definitely one to watch. - castielRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Interesting story idea well written compelling main character. Well worth the time to read. I read a lot of stories on hear and this is one of my favorites. The character is forced into sub potential choices yet manages to thrive. I need to get to 50 words for the review but said what I want to so here we go.
- sammyheroRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I enjoyed my time reading this story. Has a nice little twist to the established litrpg system.
The characters are witty and funny. It's still to early to really tell how it pans out in the future. But I'm excited to read more.
If you're looking for a nice little shakeup of the established stories, definitely give it a try.
i don't know why it doesn't let me post this review as it has more than 50 words but maybe this is enough to fulfill the requirement. :) - DurbellionRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Great story so far, I'm tearing through it. It's KrazeKode, so if you have read his other works, you know it's gonna be good.
The characters are pretty good, the fight scenes are great, and I'm loving the hints at the wider world and deep System. You can see clear inspiration from HWFWM in the MC and System, but it's not identical.
Grammar could use just a Grammarly pass, but I tend to be fairly lenient about that on RR. These are web novels, not books that have editors pouring over them for months. Everyone can't be pirateaba.
