Leon Zyth, from the outer reaches of the Empyrean Kingdom, is a youth with an inquisitive mind and a dream for greatness. but his dreams take a backseat to his love for his family and the desire to do right by them. The Empyrean Kingdom is often at war, and conscription is a real possibility. Wanting to care for his parents, war has little attraction for him. His secret dreams of reaching the pinnacle of the world - an archmagus - must take a backseat when caring for his aging parents. When the world is ruled by influential military leaders, it's hard to get what you want.
