Description

First book is available on Amazon.

Sean wasn't expecting to die. He wasn't expecting to be raised as one of the undead, tossed down a trash-chute, and left to fend for himself against the oversized monsters of this new world and the relentless ambitions of the evil necromancer who summoned him. He definitely wasn't expecting to be eaten, either -- even if that turned out to be the best part of his day.

Join Sean as he carves his way to the top in a world of magic and monsters, discovers new food and friends in equal measure, and fights for every hour of his life.

Because when the entire world is served up against you -- you might as well eat it.

As of posting this review, the first book through to the epilogue is completed.  To list a few of its accomplishments:
    * Competently paced story, where it doesn't feel any part drags excessively, nor is there any pointless filler.
    * One of the best examples of an extroverted major character I've seen in written format.
    * Intriguing methods used to describe the mental states of the undead.
    * A world that both feels deep enough to warrant further exploration, while not being so complicated that story devices feel pointless.
I rarely ever recommend stories because I don't know other people well enough to gauge how they'd jive with it, but this one I'd be willing to recommend to anyone with even a passing interest in isekai/system-based stories.

A really great take on the Portal/Fantasy genre. The plot is really good and keeps me from wanting more. I really like the banter between Sean and gel.  The pacing is great it's neither stretched or rushed. The writing of it is really nice really fluid and easy to read. I'm really enjoying this story and i hope it keeps it up. Overall it's a 5 out of 5 would recommend.

The concept is intriguing and the writing style is a beautiful mix of humorous inteligence and excitement. This is definitely a story with a world that is far too easy to get caught up in. Dont pick it up if you want soare time, you'll never want to put it down.

Yummy: a wandering undead with no tongue and taste buds, but has passions of cooking using magic and all sorts of ingredients, orthodox or not. And without even considering that most of the food is isekai stuff, so one will inevitably be hooked to see what sort of kooky dish is served up next
Funny: The banter between our two main duo is funny, Gel devotion and worship towards all things food related and Sean playing straightman is fun to read. Mainly tho its the many outbursts that Gel has that amuses me so
Action Packed: fighting monsters, fighting people, fighting groups, this book has it all. Honestly, the action is nothing special, but its written well enough that it isnt tedious and is interesting enough to follow, nothing overly complicated as well

have u ever wondered about the combination of 2 different monsters? hve u ever thought "skeleton + x creature = cool stuff"? because i know that i have. This is a story about the main character sean who is isekaid by a necromancer who sends him down a trash shoot. He then finds a slime and they get an amazingly cool symbiotic relationship. the slime (Gel) eats and eats and eats everything, sean needs to keep killing things so that he can sustain his existance's mana cost. it has got everything, good characters, cool monster evolution, a fantasy thing that i specifically really wanted to see (slime-skeleton hybrid/symbiotic MC). Overall i highly recommend it to anyone who likes cool monster evolution ideas.
slime-skeleton, worship the slime-skeleton, feed the slime, admire the skeleton, all hail the slimy-skele cult. wh praise the lord of slimy bones. all hail SEAN-GEL!!!!!

This story is a rare treat. Genuinely funny and fun. Gel (the slime) is brimming with character and the interaction between him and the MC remains fresh and amusing. It manages to balance seriousness with humor, has a central plot to follow but also takes the time to stop and enjoy the scenery
I also like the system. All too often nowadays System stories have forced classes or outright malicious systems. Turning the system into an enemy, one who forces an oppressive caste system on the world (what can someone born with the [baker] class ever do?) which the MC only avoids via plot armor (which feels unearned).
Not here though, here the system gives choices which are unlocked based on your actions or achievements. Which is fun, and makes the growth feel earned.

I am going to start this off by saying I have ZERO complaints. I love this story. Action packed, a unique growth system. You also keep the story moving along. I laugh during the back and forth between the slime and the skeleton. Imma need you to start pumping them chapters out ASAP. This will definitely get a book deal buddy. Calling it

So few review ? that's not possible.
this is a gem of a story.
Monster-led stories are a difficult genre for me because often, either it falls in the "kill all humans" genre.. or in the "I'm a human in a different shape and all works easily".
Here the story is balanced on the knife edge between those two extrems.
The characters are both interestingly "alive".. and their banter, and especially Gel's outlook on life, bring some pleasing comedy.
The author manages to make the MC, a skelly, human, but that's easy because he is originaly a human from earth... but he manages also to make an ever-hungry slime "human".. it's great.
It's almost like the mimic of ELLC got a moral ... so you eat all.. but only "almost all".
    It's Gluttony separated from Greed.
the variety of tensions used to impede the MC, to limit him, to provide obstacles so that he can grow later on, makes for an interesting read, opening so many different paths along which the MC can grow in strength and in character. I'll just be citing tensions related to speech and (mis)communication, to cooking without being able to taste, to mana regen and upkeep, to health .
    grammar ??? no problem there.

I started reading and couldn't stop It's quite good I would recommend it, I finished all the currently released chapters within a couple of hours. it has a way of fully immersing you in the world described and once it catches your eyes it does not let go, once again I would highly recommend giving it a good read.

This is a common problem i see in many novels.
Authors using so SO many unnecessary words to say something that could have been conveyed in a single sentence (not paragraph sentence) it's becoming tedious to read.
The way to enjoy novels like these is by playing them on the background as you go about your day. Thankfully i use a text to speech software so I'm fine but i pity those who have no sit down and read this world by word.
    ---
    So here's my advice
    - to readers read the first few words of each sentence and see if can follow (you will be  able to)  and enjoy it don't worry you won't be missing anything important.
    - to the author, write the chapter as you normally do & once you are done, start taking away sentences & replacing every paragraph (shrink them) to the point they are starting to not make sense.
At that point stop and reconstruct it to be a legible phrase & while you are doing that (reconstructing the shortened phrases)
ask yourself is this info REALLY necessary?
Does adding these words progress the plot / build the world or character in any way.?
If so are the these the minimum amount of words needed to covey said message?
If the answer is yes to all those questions add them. If nit drop em..
Best of luck & keep writing. this is a good story it just needs some work to make it entertaining to read (normally).
