In my opinion, the story can feel a little directionless and generic at times, but it is still an overall enjoyable read (so far). There's many characters to get to know and to like, and the setting is no doubt interesting.
If you like this genre and over the top action sequences, you'll probably like this.

The basic story premise overall is intriguing and I intend to keep following the story. I'd be especially interested to see if the author is able to come up with a way to make the introduction to certain other characters flow a bit more. I haven't gotten too far into it but the other supporting characters seem to have a good basis for development in the future.
The opening scene flashback to the past was a little confusing at first until I realized that the memory was when he was a child and he first met his friend. I might suggest making it a little more clear to the reader somehow that this is a flashback to the past.
I've only read up to chapter seven at the time of this review, but overall, I think this story has a lot of great potential. I would suggest adding a scene to help the MC gain the trust of the other characters, for example: perhaps there was a battle and that brought him close to death, but the other characters nursed him back to health for example.
I'm giving this story 4.5 stars because I think it has great potential 😊
