Description

“Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster... for when you gaze long into the abyss. The abyss gazes also into you.”― Friedrich W. NietzscheThis is a quote that quite captures our protagonists path to despair and self-harm. Raphael, a child born into poverty and has physically abused since a young age, finds out his true origin of royalty. But his past does not let him move forward as he suffers from schizophrenia and DID. His journey into getting rule over "The sanctuary of dawn" is a long one worth following. Descend into mad dreams and hallucinations with him...

Great storytelling and a great pace to the story, Definitely on my bookmarks. The story is thrilling and perfect it kept me wanting for more after each chapter, keep the chapters coming because I can't wait to read them all. As a new novel, I'm very excited to see what comes next for Raphael.

Honestly I can tell the author is farily new but he seems to have a lot of potential. So far my fav character is Drey Sunless bro got no chill XD. I think both he and Zephisto are going to be best buds I can just smell it hahahahah. Some parts are unclear overall till now but hopefully they are going to be put to light later. The power system has a lot of hope. Some points I'd like to make are that in the beginning the writing feels weak and even though it progresses very well later on it still has some time before the author gets better at that. I do recommend it a lot even though it's a progressive fantasy. LitRPG's are fine but this is something fresh for me. The psychological aspect is what intrigues me the most though. The romance feels kinda iffy and forced but I think the author is going for the realistic romance feel. I will try to follow through with every update though its too early to make a clear review. I hope this story get's lots of updates a week. Oh as for the schizophrenic part I guess it's a subject we have yet to discover as even Raphael doesn't seem to notice what he has. For example the few instances that it shows it's pretty vague so that'll be a big reveal on its own.
