Description
Seven years since the Waygate closed. Seven years since he was left stranded in another world. Seven years since his friends left him for dead.
Finnian, an enterprising pawnbroker and thief, has for the better part of almost a decade spent his time stealing trinkets, gem dust, coppersilk and customers. The industrial cities are no friend of dreamers, and Finnian aspires far more than advised. At least more than the little "shop" he owns down in the Bowels, the slums of the coal city that he unfortunately calls home.
But when high status figures from around the known world start arriving and rumors begin to circulate, Finnian sees a potential opportunity for profit, and perhaps a chance to escape the pits of coal and sulfur.
Under the guise of an Eastern tradeswoman by the name Camilla Arcwood, she has been tasked with infiltrating the influential banquets of Skor - a coal oriented mining city in the Southern tropical Delta - to retrieve an object. A task which will turn out to be far more difficult and eventful than she'd imagined as she stumbles upon a thief reminiscent of a rat with more than a mouthful of secrets.
Salutations and felicitations to all whom grace me with their presence!
This is my first attempt at writing a weekly release, as I am attempting to find and maintain a consistent writing schedule. Whether or not this novel will be maintained in that order remains to be seen, as this is but one of my 2 main writing projects. Either way, I thank you for gracing me with your time of day, and hope that you enjoy the scribbles I throw onto your screen.

I genuinely enjoyed the first two chapters of Rhinstone Gods.
Characters: The characters in this novel feel real. They are very well developed and even the characters that are more on the sidelines clearly have their own voice. The characters have great banter amongst each other which makes them that much more interesting and relatable.
Grammar: I didn’t notice any obvious grammar issues here which made the story that much smoother and easy to follow.
Story Score: I think the story is brilliant. It had a lot of action and mystery right away. The world building was exceptional and the comic relief was very well done.
Style: This is the only part of the novel that I had minor issues with. There were some sentence structures and word choices that I would have done differently for clarity purposes but otherwise it is well written. I also would break the chapters apart because these first 2 chapters are quite long.
