Revenant's Requeim: Echoes of Vindicta

"God sees all sins, and His vengeance falls hardest on those who harm the innocent."

The desperate words of Father Thomas echo through St. Mercy's church as he delivers the final sermon in the church that will soon be abolished.  Before him sit the orphaned children, the people whom the church provides for, who will soon lose their homes to the City's corrupt officials and criminals.

That very same night, a man is betrayed, beaten, and thrown into a grave, his mouth taped and hands tied, on the brink of death, buried alive. As the earth closes in around him, He is desperately trying to keep the final embers of his life from fading away, his mind consumed with rage and despair. In that darkness, he hears a voice, something otherworldly and cold, laughing at him and mocking him.

That entity, "IT," does not seek the strong. It waits for the broken, the desperate, and those with nothing left to lose. And in that moment, as the man teeters on the edge of death, the entity sees an opportunity. It offers him a chance to rise again, to exact vengeance on those who wronged him.

The deal is struck, but at a cost. When he awakens, his memories are gone, erased by the entity that saved him. All that remains is a burning desire for revenge and a host of newfound powers and strength to assist him in reaching his goal! With this, he embarks on a journey of revenge and a journey to find his identity and the life he once lived.

But as he delves deeper into the shadows of the City, he begins to unravel a web of lies, corruption, and tragedy—one that forces him to question whether the vengeance he seeks will bring him peace or destroy what little humanity he has left.
