The MC Talia is introduced here in this unmarked stub, and I'm going to base this review just on the writing that is present. Particularly, the prose is rather clunky and it has quite a bit of errors that could be fixed with a copyedit. One section that was this line:
“Thanks.” I said as I downed the last bite of my granola and took the coffee from her. As soon as I sipped it I tasted a strong flavor of ginger and Redbull. chewing don the crunchy ice i noticed that there was gold glitter in it.
Just order of actions and several questions of just what kind of coffee has this? The dialogue has numerous errors in grammar and tense even in this small chapter. Even the tie in with French does not read natural. Not much happens in this scene other than introduce a bunch of characters in a way that is not very detailed either. My main issue with this is the prose and its errors, if fixed this would be an interesting book to read.
