ZionLine's promise was irresistible: triple your lifespan. The price? Surviving an unknown world rife with brutal combat, where the gruesome deaths are terrifyingly real. For a desperate humanity, it was a price worth paying

But beneath the time dilation’s gleaming facade lies a horrific truth that Earth's elite will kill to conceal. They will fail. Raine KongRu has seen this future before. He lived through the yoke of captivity it heralds, and he knows there is precious little time to consolidate his power before millions die—again

Enemies multiply as events outside Raine’s memories proliferate. But he wouldn’t have it any other way, for Raine’s martial path is one of challenge, pressure, and risk. The more on the line, the faster he evolves to meet the tidal wave of forces arrayed against him.

Under the guise of Alaric, Raine is hunted by those with the means to see him dead in both worlds. CronGate was once his home, its leaders his mentors, its people his own. They taught him everything he knew, and enslaved him for a lifetime. Now, CronGate’s vast financial might is aimed directly at his throat, and they’ll stop at nothing to ensure Raine KongRu, and Alaric, become just another footnote in history.

The feeling is mutual.

What you can expect to find in Martial Messiah:

High-Stakes Tension: A VRMMO adventure where the danger grips you by the collar and doesn’t let go.Complex Systems: Deep LitRPG mechanics and multiple layers of magic systems that don’t stop just because you’re back on Earth.A Living World: Actions have logical, rippling consequences. No plot armor. No contrived BS. No easy outs.A Mature Protagonist: Raine KongRu isn't afraid of building meaningful relationships. He faces the women in his life with confidence and conviction, avoiding the common tropes of the genre.

So, what are you waiting for? Come, seeker of adventure. Dive into Martial Messiah Book 2 and experience a non stop thrill-ride that will leave you thirsty for more, more, more.

A/N: AI was used for art only to serve the purpose of deepening immersion. Uses of cursed items, loot acquisition, and even some events were rolled for by dice, making much of this story authentically spontaneous.

I haven't read many Xianxia/cultivation/VR stories on this site, so I'm not 100% sure what this technically classifies as, but it has been a blast so far (the author has been uploading on Patreon and is many chapters ahead).
The premise is fairly straightforward; MC from a dystopian future gets transported back to his past before things go off the rails. Armed with foreknowledge of what is to come, he goes to work becoming as OP as possible.
Pretty simple stuff, but the execution is really strong. The pacing is breakneck, especially early on, as MC has to rush to get ahead of the competition. The world is utopian enough to be cool while still having an edge, a feeling that something is not right. And our MC learns early and often that just being from the future doesn't mean he knows everything; he has a leg up, but he still has to put in the work.
Not everything is sunshine and rainbows with the story. There are grammar hiccups and typos here and there, but nothing egregious.
More of a problem is that the game system is pretty bloated from the get-go, with non-standard game terminology and abbreviations that can be tedious to keep up with. Most of the time, it isn't an issue, but there will come a time when you find yourself asking, "What were Attunement Points again?"
Also, while the characterization is pretty solid, development can be spotty. There aren't any characters that I particularly hate (as in, contrary to the author's intentions), but I can't say I'm really in love with anyone, either. Most of them just are, and that's that. Flat character arcs aren't necessarily bad character arcs, though; just because everyone likes Vegeta better doesn't make Goku a bad character.
All in all, this is a fun power fantasy popcorn read. If you're looking for something sober and deeply enlightening, then you probably shouldn't be considering a story called Return of the Martial Messiah, even with the last word of the title. If you're looking for a fast, tense, action-packed

Return of the Martial Messiah is a captivating masterpiece! The story is a breathtaking blend of action and emotion, with a protagonist you can't help but root for. The world-building is immersive, and the pacing is perfect, keeping you on the edge of your seat. A must-read for any fantasy fan, this book delivers on all fronts!

Love this story! I've been reading his stories in Patreon and they are engaging, well written stories. I love that I can read them without getting thrown out of the story because of spelling, grammar or terrible plot holes. This is one of my new favorites. You won't regret reading this!

This series is a great read! Once I started, I couldn't put it down! Character development and pace are on point! No surprise after reading Density God... If you are a fan of LitRPG, I can't recommend both series highly enough. T T T T T T T T T T

Great story, and characters this is one of the RR stories I read first then there's a release. Hope it carries on for many more books. Like the mix of online and how that impacts real world and the character reliving the past is one of my favourite stories.

The pacing of the story is just right, the interaction between the characters doesn't feel forced, and the bullying (for their own good, of course) that Rainer heaps on his poor subordinates is hilarious. There are real consequences to his actions that will very likely have an impact on his life outside of the game.
That said, the story does have the usual cliche of the protagonist getting all of the good events/coincidences that are endemic to LitRPG reincarnate stories. This is definitely not a high-falutin big brow tale, but a good read to turn your brain/SOB off and enjoy. The occasional images that are included really give a nice addition to the story.

Well written and thought out but does borrow some from "the strongest sword god" series.  Look forward to reading more, authors other works "god of density are also very good. Overall a well done series and a skilled writer have woven a nicely crafted story that any fantasy fan should enjoy.

I decided to give Martial Messiah a try because I am reading 's other story on RR, Dawn of the Density God, and I'm glad that I did.
The overall writing quality for an indie published book is very good, some errors do crop up occasionally but it's nothing egregious.  The story is well told with good pacing.  The action scenes are exciting and well described.  The MC is entertaining and likable enough, and the supporting cast are both quirky and interesting; though most of them could use some fleshing out.
On a side note, MMO-focused LitRPGs is a niche genre I normally avoid because I find it's difficult for a story about "MC plays a video game" to feel like it has any impactful stakes and the 'real-world' component often feels lacking or neglected.  Thankfully, that is not the case with this story.  I think the idea of a technologically advanced society of Cultivators using VR games as a training tool is a clever premise.  It lets the story flip between a sci-fy and a fantasy setting that are both equally interesting and fantastical.
In conclusion, this story is currently one of my favorites on RR.  Worth a Read.

There's this Light Novel called "Return of the Sword Saint." Guy comes back a decade and starts his own game guild while also being a badass martial artist, there are guild wars and auctions, etc.
This story surpasses it in every single way.
The secondary characters actually have dimension and flavor, the guilds make reasonable, less cardboard cut out decisions, the real world consequences and involvement are far deeper and more interesting.
It's weird that the harem can hear his thoughts, but okay. I'm loving this story.

There's three different aspects going on and I am interested in how the author balances and plays them off each other. Real world activity, ingame activity, and whatever is going on with AI.
How and why the main character got sent back in time wasn't really addressed but maybe that's a future topic to reveal.
