"We love b***** verbose Missingno," - me while reading this book.Resurrection Raid's premise is in the title. It's a raid you do to get resurrected, I think? It's a mystery, which is part of the fun! We love mysteries here. This is one of those books you absolutely read for the characters. Not to dismiss the setting, as in what I've read so far, there is much intrigue to be explored there. The characters absolutely push the story forward."Dynamic Duo" is absolutely on point. Though, this early in the story, they could not be more different.Teddy is a simple girl, but one who knows what she wants. Unfortunately everything she's been thrown into is way outside of her depth and all she can do is press forward with her trusty shovel slung over her shoulder.Cato is the missingno I referred to earlier - a glitch in the system. He's extremely verbose, speaking well above whatever language level poor Teddy sits at. He's not sparse with his words. My man doesn't have a sharp tongue, he has a laser guided precision missile of a vocabulary. He doesn't mince words, he executes with them. The style is fun and interesting, each chapter is from the POV of one of the two in the dynamic duo, and their personal manner of speech bleeds heavily into the prose. Teddy chapters have simpler observations about the world around her. She complains about Cato, but has a caring heart for all around her.Cato chapters on the other hand have thick prose and cynical outlooks on organic life and the futility of it all, while he attempts to move pieces on the board like a master chess player forced into a bit part. It's a fun dichotomy that keeps the flow of events interesting and varied.Grammar is excellent. Cato must be an exceedingly difficult character to write, as his word choices lean far more advanced and speaks to the author's ability to weave words together for a compelling narrative. All and all, uh, why do I have 128 wallets now? Read Resurrection Raid.

I have to say at the very beginning of this, I can already tell this story will become an epic for the ages, on par with The Legend of William Oh.Cato Sutur:What a tough character to get right! Another reviewer expressed this better, so go find them. Writing such an obviously intelligent and (once) powerful being is difficult already, but giving him such a terrible personality like self-aggrandizement and bitterness AND STILL making him endearing to the readers is just amazing!Idk if its because is supposed to be a (farrr off in the future) eventual romance, but the little tidbits that foreshadow it make his negative personality super endearing. He thinks that he is so cool and collected, and lacks such self awareness that Teddy's POV really makes it hilarious.I have no doubt that poking fun at the slow descent of his sanity and the cracking of his icy heart is going to be my favorite thing to do in the comments. Keep up the good work 👏.Theodora /Teddy:At first we think she may be dumb or slow, like Kato first thinks, but I realized it was probably intentional because of her serious discombobulation on the whole situation. Who wouldn't be brain foggy from just dying and thrust into a strange world and immediately almost dying again? Her thought and observation style is so contrasting and complementary to Kato, direct and sturdy, self depreciating and service oriented, she is the absolute foil to him, and as I am sure we will see later, he to her. She is very smart and methodical. Stubborn in her goodness. She has a very different inner monolouge and is very good at reading Katos emotions, or is he just terrible at hiding them?? Her honesty in viewing the world allows the readers to really get thier feet under them so to speak. I love how she wasn't a gamer in her past life, so the writers can really go full blast with their lore dumping, kindly provided by the scathingly verbose Kato.Grammer, story, and style:All amazing, 10 out of 5 stars. The world building will

I find myself really enjoying the interesting dynamic between the two main characters.Cato this formerly nigh Omnipotent AI reduced to a level of drudgery he finds unacceptable. He who is essentially a god forced to consort with these bumbling oafs in order to return to his rightful place. His parent even deemed this one particularly dull witted oaf to be his Limiter!Teddy a good soul who know one bothered to tell what the hell was going on. Given a title called Limiter with no understanding of what that means. Then this long haired jerk shows up with a holy than thou attitude. He is handsome without a doubt but it is utterly offset by his personality. Will two find middle ground and get along? Let us find out!
