In the heart of reality lies a hidden magical world, and Lukas, a 22-year-old bartender known as "UnLucky Luke," stumbles upon its secrets during a fateful bar fight. Behind his rough exterior, Lukas harbors a warm soul, determined to fill the void he once faced. Yet, as he navigates this newfound realm, he discovers a landscape marred by prejudice and injustice, mirroring the harsh reality he thought he knew.
Unveiling a network of interconnected magical realms, each concealing dark secrets, Lukas grapples with his awakening powers—deemed repulsive by the magical denizens. These abilities become both his curse and driving force as he journeys through a world teeming with horrors and wonders. In a struggle for survival where magic, power, and influence reign, Lukas must confront the insignificance thrust upon him. His odyssey unfolds with horror, pain, determination, and boundless possibilities, challenging him to reconcile with his extraordinary powers and, ultimately, himself. Will Lukas find a way to thrive in a world where his very existence is considered inconsequential?
Hello, everyone! I'm a beginner writer. After five years of reading hundreds of novels, I've decided to give writing my own a try. Please note that all characters, events, and places mentioned here are fictional. I enjoy chaotic and dynamic storytelling, so that's what you can expect from my work.
I've started a Discord server as I've heard it helps, and I genuinely wish to hear your opinions and suggestions personally. If you'd like to support me, I have a PayPal and a Ko-fi page.

- Extra26Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I read this after a recommendation by a friend and it's safe to say it's not similar to any book I have read recently. But maybe that's why it really felt interesting to read. The style is really good and the author do a nice job with the characters.
The story has tropes but they are executed very differently, making it interesting and it's clear that the author has a long term goal for it. And I'm going to be reading more. - M.G DriverRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The first chapter blew me away, and the subsequent kept up the rapid pace in a blitz. There's a bit of abrupt POV swapping in the first chapter, but the descriptive style and action sequences are more than enough to keep the action flowing as smooth as wine.
TLDR Read the damn novel right now, stop reading this review, check it out ASAP.
Style:
Descriptions are king in this novel, the metaphors and pictures painted help to visualize the scene with extreme clarity rarely seen in usual webnovels ( I know I don't write anything close to this standard, so believe me when I say it's GOOD)
Battle sequences are top-notch, well paced with clear movements and sudden flows, making you, the reader, feel as though you're in continuous motion. Of course, there are downtimes, but the story occupies that space with contemplations on life, meaning of your daily routine, and of course, the eldritch horrors that creep about the MC's life (and innards: mental innards)
Story:
As with any cosmic/eldritch/fantasy horror, there is an element of mystery at the start, and it really draws you in, with lore dripped over chapters, slowly laying out a landscape of a greater wider world far beyond the mundane modern normal that Luke is used to.
The bulk of the story I have read so far is really a mad chase, a dash to survive, and I have yet to see anything that is really considered true plot armour, so kudos to the author.
Grammar:
I'm not native, 5/5.
Character:
Lukas is a ball of fun to read and listen to in terms of thoughts. Both his lifestyle and feelings are extremely relatable, making this fiction even more of a hook for me than it already was. The rapid dialogue in interactions between characters add life and colour to the already vibrant cast and environment of the clubs that Lukas works at.
We get hints at a few of his relations to other characters yet to be introduce, which makes the world feels extremely large. I'm excited to find out more about his origin, heritage, friends, and his - RustyDustRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Five stars. I will touch upon what I have gathered from a quick read through and subsequent interview with the author. The main character is what I would come to describe as a broken or cursed hero. A trope that is become increasingly more popular on this platform. The premise of such a character is that there is something fundamentally wrong which might garners sympathy by the viewers.
This curse that the Mc has is his innate ability to use/possess a power called void. A volitile substance that passively brings misery and damnation to himself and everyone around him.
The events in the story are well paced however sometimes it becomes very straightforward. Like there is only one path forward and little room for variation. This seems to have changed though in the last few chapters and I will consider changing my review later on. In other aspects the story is great. The style and grammar are great and you can see the authors skill increase with the number of chapters. The magic system and world building are solid and at the same time flexible enough for the implementation of new and creative ideas. The reason such a gem lacks the popularity it should have is likely because of the RR algorithm. It seems the author have big plans for the story so i recommend you follow along this interesting journey. - ShlarkupikRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I am no pro reviewer. I just like this a lot. It’s full of what I like in a book. Definitely keep reading cause it only gets better.
I don’t know what else to put here but I need 50 words to post this review. So bla bla bla bla bla. - wkrrkRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It's a nice mixture between contemporary mystery & classic fantasy. First time seeing a setting outside of the U.S and makes me want to visit Poland.
Though if everything in the stories are to be believed I guess I would never visit. Ever.
It's a unique work in Royal Road where a lot of things are designed to appeal to audiences that love litRPG or GameLit.
I personally grew up reading fiction in this style so enjoyed it.
