- QellomoreRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0After reading the first 4 chapters of the story I must say that it's been a while that a story with such a simple premise made me laugh.
The author clearly has a specific audience group in mind and can deliver a comedic relief together with an interesting story.
Sam doesn't feel bland, and the heroes up to now feel unique in their own way. I like how the entire story sees the superhero and sidekick world as a joke and plays into it.
Can't wait to read more! - nyroveilRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5The overall of the story is very unique, and sheds a unique light on heroes, sidekicks, and villains. I'm still unsure whether heroes with actual powers exist here or not though, and I think that could be mentioned in some way or another.
The writing style is engaging, and there's not much feedback to give to it other than maybe focusing a bit more on other elements than mostly dialogue. At some points I found myself skimming rather than reading because a part felt dragged on. Though, this was mainly in the first two chapters, and I can tell the writing improved after.
The grammar is perfect, but I have two things to note. In chapter one, sam says "That's an herb," which is incorrect because, y'know, grammar. And in chapter two, I think it would make better sense to change "I'm Leaflord." into "I am Leaflord." To make it that much dramatic.
The characters are done well, and I can't wait to see what other characters will be introduced.
That is all I really have in mind to say at the moment... I do not have much feedback or criticism to add, however, it requires of me to write 200 words to be able to submit, so if you happen to notice the longer phrases in this review, that is exactly the reason for such.
