The style is good although I bit basic.
Grammar
Sentences read smoothly for the most part. You can find some mistakes in the sentence construction here and there in the first few chapters but doesn't come up again ( I don't know wether this has been fixed). There arn't any spelling error that I can point out and as the chapters go on it's getting better and better.
Story
As for story is simplistic but still fun to read it has some potential I just hope the author takes the story onto the right path.
Characters
Characters have personality just not enough.
I just hope the author can give more personality to the characters.
Overall
I quite like this story and I would personally recommend it. Give it a try and if you don't like it you can move on.
Note for author:
the only advice I can think of that might help you give the characters more personality is make a sheat with all the characters traits and use and then think what you would have done if you had those traits or maybe ask people you know how they would react with those traits. Could you maybe also expand more on how things like mana work you can make you're own system up for it.
These are ideas I am not a writer and everyone has there own way of doing things so don't take them seriously.
