Description

Previously, Erind Hartwell, a law student with psychopathic tendencies accepted a deal with an eldritch being that imitated her in order to survive. She is now known as an Adumbrae, a threat to humanity that are often quelled by heroes called Corebrings.

However, due to a misunderstanding, Erind is offered to become an Artificial Corebring and join a secret vigilante group. In an effort to maintain her face, Erind accepts the Artificial Core. She will now experience the world as both a Corebring and an Adumbrae. Furthermore, her Artificial Core has given her Adumbrae a unique method to interact with her and the real world...

Note: This is an Alternate Universe (AU) Fanfic of the old REND (not the rewrite) that diverges immediately at the end of REND 1.12.

Just started reading 2 days ago, binged it, and now I'm caught up.
So far, the story's great 👍, the main character (Ernid) is self-aware if a little dense and the chemistry between Ernid and ShadowErnid (I think that's her name) is really nice.

Wow! This is really well written. Enough difference from the original to be interesting but all characters behave as they should.
If the author admitted this was their second account and they were writhing another fan fic (of their own work) I would believe them!
Grammer and style both great.
Feels like a professional that started a joke story but is now VERY much into it.
Really interesting ideas, that would not only fit in the main story but I'd actually like to see them in there.
Either way, keep it up author!
