Reincarnator Destroys the Romance

Description

[Enigma’s Academy] was a game with potentially hundreds of thousands of hours to experience. It may have been popular as a fantasy RPG game, but its main genre was as a dating simulator.

Hah...

A dating simulator with the elements of levelling up, killing demons, and somehow even trading with aliens of the greater unknown. And for some psychopathic reason, the developers chose romance as the main focal point of the game.

In the end, I still loved it, and of the hundreds of endings, I beat one.

However now that I’m here, how am I supposed to prevent love from ruining the world?

I swear it now-

I will destroy the romance.

Updates are now on every Wednesday and Saturday at 20:00 AEDT (Australian Timezone). I may add some chapters in between if I get ahead of schedule.

I'm revamping my earlier chapters with a proofreader due to the number of grammatical errors. Three chapters a week will be re-edited until it catch up to the current uploads. (From the 22nd of Jan 2025 by a friend, siphon123.)

Very good. I would say that all the characters in the story are interesting and give vibes similar to rpgs like octopath traveler where every person is required in order for the story to progress. There is decent character growth throughout the story found in side characters and the protag. This story takes place as a game put through a game randomizer with wacky settings so the protag typically needs to make educated guesses on what to do.

I dont give 5 stars easy.
2.5 stars is the avarage story on RR.
Now i am torn between 3,5 and 4 stars here.
From the title i was expecting trash.
I mean the setting is not new.
It has been done before and the quallity always suffers for it.
The typical overpowerd MC that gets all the girls plows through any oposition.
Now i am not saying that this cant turn into one but as of right now it isnt there.
At least at the chapter i am reviewing this at.
The mc is still hiding his ability for the most part.
He does go all out in certain situations and the "cheat" that got him his level boost is only there at low level.
I would rate him somewhere on the same level as the top students of his age but not the whole school, forget about the adults.
bonus points ( contain mild spoiler)
The MC fights bosses as if he fought them many times before.
Becourse he did, as a player.
Usually in this type of storys that is skipped over and there is only prais for for good the mc is.
Here the other character can see that the MC fought this boss many times before.
    They question it.
    That is a big plus.
While i plan to give it a mutch more in deph review later, for now i can recomend this.
And know this. There are very few storys on RR i would recomend you to try out.

The prose and grammar are, frankly,  awful. The plot is good, so are the characters and their interactions with the MC. I love the world building. But the way it's written leaves much to be desired. The writing and grammar, for the lack of a better word, feels clunky, It reminds me of MTL translations of xianxia/wuxia novels.
