Description

Maxim, a nineteen years old human male with an interest in marine biology died bisected in an elevator freak accident, his upper body being seven floors above his lower half.

It wasn't a rapid death, far from it. Anyway, now he is in an egg. Henceforth, human, he was no more and will ever be but mutant terror of the sea he will be.

Follow his adventure in this new world filled with wonder, hunters, and monsters as he discovers more about himself and how he will change, for the better or for the worse.

The Duke Fishron is an Hardmode boss from the videogame Terraria.

It's a crossover Fanfic between Terraria(and some of its mods) and the world of Monster Hunter, it will be centered on MHW though.

Everything goes to its respective owner.

Lots of munching, very good.
The world feels large, and the author clearly enjoys describing the characters battles and the world around them.
No real complaints, just wish there was more chapters to feed my ever lasting hunger.
Really looking forward to how his relationships develop with other characters. As it will help form the characters identity more, and make us more attached to the various happenings.

This book is rather strange in how it's presented and how its written. I have enjoyed the book and I would recommend it.
Style: the style of this story is complicated. The author seems to be experimenting and has swapped between a 1st person's perspective to a 3rd person's perspective at times. It's a little strange but that's fine. The protagonist has clear changes in how they think and thus how they act, I find this really great and something more books should do! The only problem with this is that it is acknowledged in the universe and is not subtle and there were no real problems or anything from this change due to the changes, I'm a fan of this just wish it was done differently, but hey I'm no author.
Story: the story is only just beginning, there have been some interesting threads dangled and some foreshadowing in how the protagonist may develop but so far it's very simplistic and hasn't begun developing properly yet due to only a few chapters out rn.
Grammar: I suck at grammar and spelling, don't trust me, but I haven't had any problems with Grammar.
Character: the protagonist is interesting but lacks depth as of yet due to no interaction with anyone else due to their current isolation, this seems like it will change soon but as of now the protagonist has been shown to be a lot of fun to read about due to their changing personality, the way the author portrays their emotions and generally how they act in response to the world.
I 100% feel that the author can do better and am looking forward to more of their stuff but besides that, I am happy with the story and hope to see more from the author!

While not the best, it is surprisingly good,
You would think something like this would be bad, but no!
So far it is a mix of terraria, one of my favorite games, with monster Hunter, I have never played, but I like the concept. I like how it weaves together, from how duke fishiron is some pigron anomaly.
A great read I would recommend.

I started this novel with low expectations, thinking it could be interesting but not anticipating much. It was indeed interesting! I got more attached to the story and invested in the MC's development and future than I expected. Read all of the available chapters in 2 days, and came up on the most recently released chapter faster than I expected. Hoping it comes back sometime!!
