As of recent, I've realized there are some things that I feel I need some time think about, both in terms of this story and my writing as a whole. I'll provide another update in the future once I've gathered my thoughts and come to a decision.

On indefinite hiatus until then.

Honestly, I wasnt expecting much out of this, but I was looking for copper, and I found a rock(gold), honestly, this is better then some novels that ive read, and I mean paid for novels, and as per the other review "Its a rock. what are you expecting?", I agree, there already is one about a blade of grass, but this, this is pretty much new, I hope to see how it goes

I'm actually on my second read through of this story. It's a slow burn that certainly tugged on my heart strings a few times, as well made me think on some pretty deep subjects.
You might not think a rock has a lot to offer in terms of perspective, but it's really amazing what the author managed to show us from a more or less fixed position in its world.
    -Best wishes to the author!-

I picked up this title because of the silliness of the title.  The cover even matched the story. Was this a joke?
Joke or not, this rock is a gem. (Really!)
In the “Reborn in another world as a…” genre, it is impossible to stand out. The more ridiculous you get, the more insane the next person has to be. Slime becomes spider becomes sword, then on to Vending machine, Pig, and so on. Rock bring us all the way (well, maybe blade of grass could be next) to the end.
So Why did I enjoy it as much as I did.
Because it’s fun. It doesn’t take itself seriously. And its fun.
OK? Read it if you need to smile. If you don’t, then you need to lighten up.
Great job!  Looking forward to vol 2.

This is, for lack of a better phrase, a realistic? look at being reincarnated into a rock, at least at these beginning chapters, though I can also see some hints of humor especially in the prologue and first chapters. It was easy to picture, I’d say the imagery and perspective is a huge strength of this fiction. It is, at least so far, a little melancholy to me. The rock laments lost opportunities, though it is pretty interesting to watch how the author weaves suspense in to the scene where the peasant may or may not throw him into the water.

This one is really hard to review, because it is one of those reads that people might really enjoy or really dislike. The core concept is as advertised. Instead of being transported as a hero, or villain, or demon lord, MC's a rock. He's a cool rock, but a rock he is. The fact that the author's able to spin this concept into something light hearted and fun should speak volumes about the writing.
I only docked the half star because the first few chapters just didn't quite capture my interests hard enough, as the main hook of the novel/early chapters is simply "what on earth is going on here?" or "how's he going to survive as a rock?". This could obviously work quite well, but something more substantial would have been nice as well.
Ether way, if you want a quick read that's fun, try this one out!

I read all 14 chapters released up to this point.
It seems to be a simple, slow burn story, told in limited first person pov, and it's past tense. Generally, well written but the author could do with giving a proofread. The author should also look at a preview before launch so they can fix the line spacing to make it uniform.
With the MC being a rock, the minimalistic description becomes even more limited.
I feel some elements in the story need to be addressed very well in the reasonably near future or risk being seen as failures in logic within the confines of the author's setup.
Or it could just be a children's story.
