- Midnight phantom GODRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Okay, here are my thoughts on the novel. It's just getting started, and the world is slowly taking shape. So far, the novel is quite enjoyable. It has a funny undertone and features decently long chapters. From what I've read, I haven't encountered any grammatical or paragraphical mistakes. The main character (MC) is also well-developed in the two chapters I've read. The MC is smart and easygoing, unlike the dumb characters often found in humorous novels. The introduction of the MC's backstory and how they were reincarnated adds depth to the story. I've been enjoying the read so far, and I'm curious to see what unfolds in the future.
The system in the novel is intriguing, with a sentient system that responds to the MC's queries. The skills the MC possesses have simple names, which is a welcome change from the complex ones in other novels. Although it's not clear yet if the world the MC was reincarnated into has magic or similar elements, it's likely to be present. Additionally, the concept of evolution is introduced in the world, and the MC will apparently change their race through evolution. The MC frequently mentions vampires throughout the chapters, hinting that they might become one in the future. The mechanics of evolution are still unknown, whether they solely depend on the system or involve other materials or skills to guide the direction. So far, the MC hasn't acquired any skills on their own; they have all been obtained through levelling up. It will be interesting to see what the future holds in store.
For those considering reading the novel, I recommend giving it a try. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did.
Now, regarding the author, I would like to ask: do you have any contact information for the sage who played a role in the MC's knowledge and reincarnation? As an Indian, I am interested in the afterlife services provided by the sage. I'm willing to donate 150 rupees as a token of appreciation.
Fun fact: As far as I know, Indian Hindu mythology incorp
