Reincarnated as a Familiar

Our unnamed main character died and was reincarnated... between worlds? While the people of the many worlds don't think too deeply about how summoning magic works, our main character is behind the scenes making it work. Taking odd jobs as a familiar for many different magicians in the many worlds, he is able to explore them all a little bit at a time, and discover others of his kind along the way.
