wrote this after reading a rehistory tale.  it is not that great but i put some time into it and wanted to post  what I had in case I never got a chance to revisit it.

    I don't recomend this story as it is. I like the premise but it could use a rewrite or two.
    This is less a story and more many scenes written to put an idea or element the author would like in a story down in writing. It loosely follows the MC as he jumped back in time and sets out to get humanity ready to win an alien invasion. I say loosely because most of it is not consistant with the stated goal of getting humanity ready for the invasion. About 1/3 of the story is the MC treasure hunting/ buying up museum pieces cheap/ promoting the arts. About 1/3 is an attempt to change the european colonial movement in North America. The last third is like a typical cheap isekai where the MC brings their views, morals, culture, tech, and food to the locals who mostly accept it because it is superior and gets a harem on the side.
    This was not an enjoyable read for me, I forced myself though it to give a justifiable review, because I like the authors other works. It has some potential if reworked and rewritten. I think a rewrite ought to include a good bit of sudying up on the history, ethnic, and cultral situations of the relevent times and places. After a few years affected areas would diverge from our histories, but things like volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, particulary bad winters, or monsoons should still happen and could be prepared for. A decent rewrite would probably leave out the morals, modern foods, and modern culture for the wider population and focus more on the science, agrculture (producton of local crops), and health. It may also be nessicary to give more info on what the alien invasion involves and how the MC's goals in shaping humanity will get it ready.
    Style: It jumps around a bit and changes tone and pacing a lot, if there was more consistancy it would do a lot better.
    Story: It is all over the place with conflicts of plot, and stated goals vs. actions, bitts and pieces of story being started then ignored for a while then finished in a paragraph 12 chapte
