Description

On December 11th, the apocalypse began. A new, mutated coronavirus—the Zeta variant—spread worldwide, and it was far more deadly than any version before it. Those infected without strong immune systems turned into zombies, and within two days, chaos reigned, wiping out 80% of humanity.

Zack, an ordinary guy, found himself in the middle of this nightmare, struggling to survive. Lacking the skills to fight off the zombies, he was soon overwhelmed and met a tragic end… or so he thought.

When Zack suddenly finds himself alive again, he’s back at the start of the apocalypse but with one huge difference—an advanced AI has armed him with powerful technology. Equipped with a zero-point reactor, power armor, a super serum, and much more, he now has the tools to turn the tide.

Follow Zack as he builds a new civilization from the ruins and fights to reclaim the world in this thrilling journey of survival and innovation. If you want to Support me (Many in Advance)

So far I have to say it’s a fun zombie/game style story. The AI ego is interesting and so our the MCs skills I just feel the whole story lacks depth.
For example he quickly finds a mansion and starts building power armor but there’s no real explanation as to how he is progressing with his tasks as one may expect in other crafting style stories. Honestly the fact he immediately starts out by making super high tech carbon batteries from some rich dude’s basement feels like a stretch. Same with the Hydrogen fuel cells since that’s not how that works at all.
Something that might be a bit more plausible was if the rich dude had some electric cars he broke down for lithium batteries that he will later replace with better stuff or maybe explaining away some of the tech malarkey as him also having a power to craft materials.
Either way I find the story to be a fun read if a bit hard to treat as a true crafting progression style story.
On a side note it would also be nice to see more of their girl he is with since she is hardly mentioned as anything more than his cook.

No litRPG elements, only cheat AI and Deus ex Machina.
Average Joe gets killed on 2nd day of Apocalypse but is reincarnated. Comes back with super-AI. Is able to fight mutant tigers with dance-dance-revolution style instruction or have blueprints for far-futuristic tech. Instructions and ability to make fertilizer bombs and Molotov cocktails, ok.  Compressed air nailguns from extinguishers and copper tubing, maaaaybe.  Is able to build a armored power suit from midevil armor and a chunk of graphene in a few days, um… honestly, pulling off tasks which would require factory sized clean-room circuit printing and use os servos and motors that don’t even exist is where the story jumped the shark for me.  Also, MC however takes dumb, unnecessary, actions and blackmails teen into sex servitude… Example, blackmailed a stressed out fearful sex-slave teen (“you be my woman or you can stay and die”) then letting her run around with cooking knives in your secure, equipped, location, while you sleep, after threatening her, is not SUPER smart. (Definitely not smart enough to turne future tech blueprints into working tech, near instantaneously.)
Edit: Read some chapters around Ch 73. The hand-wavy power fantasy still runs full-throttle.

Reading this story was grating. Every problem is quickly resolved by the protagonist’s AI, allowing the protagonist to effectively coast through the apocalypse. There is effectively no real tension, and the progression of the protagonist’s technology seems absurd and somewhat disconnected to the progression of the story. The characters are all two-dimensional, if not one-dimensional.
The author seemingly intends for readers to sympathize with the protagonist, only to have the protagonist effectively blackmail a teenage girl into becoming “his woman.” There is no actual romance between them, the protagonist simply treats her like a possession. In fact, she’s barely mentioned except when she cooks for him. The protagonist’s treatment of other characters isn’t much better. It does not seem to me that he values human life, making him seem sociopathic. Innocent people dying as a consequence of his actions does not seem to bother him at all. If you enjoy stories with antisocial protagonists, you might enjoy this story. If not, I recommend finding something else.
