Viktor and Catherine were both insane, obscene, and unruly children, so the Gods Irene and Nigel decided to reincarnate them as primordial kittens of divine holiness. Sadly, this included both of them being completely powerless to defend themselves. The duo is forced to redeem their characters: Catherine must learn to be abstemious, humble, and kind; Viktor must learn to be chaste and democratic. The journey is long, which gives plenty of time for Viktor to woo Catherine along the way, so long as both of them don't go further into insanity.

Their darkness within plagues their chances of success, but surely they would succeed?
