Rebirth of the Silent Striker

Jake Harrison was living the perfect high school life as a star soccer player with a beautiful girlfriend named Milly and promising prospects for going pro. However, during a crucial League Cup final match with scouts watching, he suffers a devastating spinal injury that destroys his soccer career. In the aftermath, he loses everything - his future in sports, his girlfriend, and his sense of purpose, eventually becoming a depressed shell of his former self.

Years later, while watching old game footage in his run-down apartment, a mysterious supernatural figure appears and offers Jake a chance to relive his past. He awakens back in time during an important game, but with an unexpected twist - he now sees video game-like interfaces, complete with quests, statistics, skill trees, and attribute points.

With both his knowledge of the future and this new "system" at his disposal, Jake approaches his second chance with a completely different mindset. Rather than embracing his former perfect life, he becomes coldly focused on using the system to improve his abilities, pushing away his girlfriend Milly (remembering her future betrayal) and dedicating himself entirely to training and getting stronger.

The story follows Jake as he attempts to change his fate using this mysterious system, though haunted by the entity's warning that "every choice has consequences."
