- AkusekaiRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The main characters of the story are all pretty well depicted and having multiple different perspectives allowing the whole world of the story to be more solid comparatively to other stories that have missing chunks here and there. One thing I noticed was that, besides the 'main' characters of the story, the others might be a bit lacking, mainly the enemies I guess, but that might just be because its only the start so far, so the enemies aren't really the arch-nemesis type yet. Besides that, there's the grammar, but as long as the point gets through, who cares? :) Keep up the good work and give me more chapters! Hahaha.
- SecretCarnageRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is one of the best stories. NOT one of best on this site, but one of the best stories i have read PERIOD. The only problem i have with it is that it is not coming out fast enough for me. I have reread this at least 4 times. Thank you for writing this great book
- SpecterchilypepperRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I love it , easy enough.... I think it s One od the best stories i have every read since forever lol the harem is also well deployed and built too. The heroines will be useful and the MC is dark, good , badass, smartphone ...he has everithing lol
- sabazurcRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0awesome action fantasy story. It has everything you want good fights, magic, interesting different races, romance, sex. Mc is not OP from the beginning but he trains hard and will be , also he has character status window (which I really like...). Also he is not some too dense, shy guy who does not get any sex till the end of novel and I like that. If you like all that you should definitely read it.
- GrimKnightRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The only faults I could find with this story are 1, the grammar in some of the earliest chapters however I have read stories which have had worse grammar than that before and 2. The Update speed is killing me I am addicted to the story now and I pop on to Royalroadl to check and see if an update for this is out yet. If it is then I read that update first.
- HephaestusRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0So awesome story everything is pretty well done the only bad thing i can point out is sometimes the characters are idk Naive? maybe it's the author too idk but sometimes things just don't make sense or yeah but still love the story and everything have alot of respect for this author especially since he has 3 arcs
- KanibRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Just amazing. More if it please, I mean, I just can't get enough of it.
All the characters are interesting and I just can't wait for the story to
unfold further. Haven't noticed any (major) grammar mistakes.
All in all, one of the best ff I have ever read. Some people may disagree
but in my opinion it has all the right things and elements (and I have a
feeling it will get even better). If someone would tell me that this was
and genuine novel, I wouldn't argue, consider trying to sell that thing
cause I would pay :) - tonyorobskyRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Read up to chapter A3-9.
Well, it's the kind of fiction I like (adventure fantasy harem mature). Nice backstory for the mc, I like the thing about revenge and retribution to the bastards.
The mc is well done, but the other characters around him are a bit lacking I think. Needs more interactions between them and the mcs, more dialogs between them. My fiction Aenthar has the same problem. The harem is acceptable so far, though I think the elf fell too easily, probably due to the lack of interaction shown, or lack of pov.
I have nothing against the style and grammar, it doesn't bother me. - kariRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5PRO’S
1. Excellent Storyline
2. Good development of story
3. MC is not a “hero”
4. Ur harem might be one of the better ones out there.
CON’s (Personal Issue)
I have no problem with the MC having more women, but they completely detract from the story! They irk me as they are simply there in every frikkin chapter without any particular need!
I can deal with Harem’s like in Against the Gods where the girls are also good supporting characters.
………..The good part is that although the girls influence the MC, they are not in every chapter! especially together… even when they aren’t there the MC still loves them & is doing something or the other. Maybe even getting additional harem members……….
But all Harem’s I have read so far on RL including your’s, end up using them for silly scenes which are not really necessary 4 the story at all.
I know m comparing all harem fictions to those written by a professional, but I really believe it’s one of the only ways a reader will enjoy Harem-addition to a good story/serious-fiction.
(unless its purely a rom-com genre or meant to be light fluff)
UPDATE: M now on Arc 3 ch 16… DROPPING IT
Yupp..m bored now…can’t take the annoying girls anymore
Thank u so far. - GrargRoyal Road★★★ 3.0For a first story, rebirth is actually pretty decent. However, I will focus on the criticisms here for the author's benefit. Review on first three arcs
Warning: Heavy Heavy spoilers
Major Issues
1. Rampant mind control and fail-proof enslavement magic is not a good basis for generating and resolving conflict. Three arcs in, every single antagonist thus far has been an irredeemable crazy evil villain. There's no subtlety and no depth. Everyone is just crazy and evil for the sake of being evil. Good for the first arc as an introduction to the world. However, leaning on this kind of antagonist cripples the story. There's only so much nonsense spouting crazy you can take before it becomes tiresome. Unfortunately, with the direction your story seems to be taking (introduction of the mind control cult), it seems that we're only going to be seeing more of this sort. Please change that.
Second, enslaving all the guards and aristocracy makes conflict resolution too simple. Kuro doesn't have to think hard or deal with any politics. All he has to do is enslave everyone and the problem disappears. So far, I haven't found a single resolution engrossing or all that satisfying. As I said before, there's no depth.
2. The game system that Kuro has to deal with is both unrealistic and a bad crutch to lean on. It's unrealistic because you've established early on that this new world isn't a game and it certainly isn't a VRMMO. As a result, his growth is sharply contrasted with those of his companions, who seem to grow like real people. In addition, you seem to be relying on the game system as a easy source of info dumping your readers. There's so much that I skipped over large parts of it in the later chapters. Instead of organically developing and experimenting with his skills, Kuro gets everything laid out on a platter for him and instead of interesting exposition focusing on self-discovery, we just have pop-up windows that info dump. The most interesting parts of the Rebirth skill s
