Description

Jose Sangriya, a devout atheist, finds himself in an awkward position when he dies and discovers that there is, after all, an afterlife. And it's not just any vague promised land, it's all the promised lands!

Accidentally handed a ticket to Heaven, the very top of the food chain in an existential plane littered with Afterlife Organizations vying for power and faith, Jose attempts to make the best of his opportunity, to the consternation of all gods and angels present.

Will Jose be convinced to take Heaven on faith? Or will he only succeed in raising Hell? Join him and his friends on this romp of an afterlifetime to find out.

Note:This is the first book in a planned trilogy that will take the hero through Heaven, Hell, Limbo, Purgatory and everything in between. I had written this book many years ago only to shelve the draft. This is my attempt to rework it afresh before sharing it with the world. All constructive criticism is welcome.

I don't normally leave such early reviews, but considering this story is so new, it has highly impressed me thus far.
Our main character Jose is not just an atheist, but the kind of person who optimistically stands at soapboxes and tries to convert the masses, and watching his struggle to introduce socialism to the afterlife is one of the funniest things I've read.
Even just two chapters in, the world-building is spectacular and highly original, and the prose is professional quality. Already we can tell Heaven has, er, more than a few problems, and I can't wait to find out what depths the whole mess has sunk to.
I can tell I'm going to love this one, and so should you. I'll update this review later once there's a bit more to this story.
